I was a negative person. Some people are not aware, but at the same time I would rather not be surrounded by them.

It's also important to have the maturity to understand that sometimes a developed process exists for a reason. "Does it work like it used to" and "has anything changed" are important questions to consider. The other question I would add is "how good/efficient does this process need to be?" You'll want to weigh the difference in results vs the effort required to make your team learn a new process.

Insightful analysis. Could you share some secrets or unknown rules to get a first high paying job as fresher with internship after completing engineering & not depend on job hopping after some months ? Where should i apply more in start ups or mnc companies ? Which type of roles usually do get more earnings is it designing or execution part.. which soft skills should i showcase and learn to stay ahead in the game ? Any top books recommendations around this topic to help me land a good pay job...

Based on the video, there are four keys to successful leadership communication, which are: 1)ask more: if we want to get our messages received, we need to ask more questions. that way, we will learn more and build the relationship with other people. we will get engagement and more information, creating a true conversation. 2)assert less don't make our opinion known so quickly. have real dialog and better communication. 3)talk less sending too many messages might not necessarily be true. 4)talk later If you make fewer assertions, that can give you the chance for true dialog to take place.

Video was clear, making me understand that in order to have a successful leadership communication, we have to carry out these 4 tips which are: ask more, assert less, talk less and talk later.

Primarily we should remember; it’s less “know the right people” and more “the right people know you”. Phrasing it from that perspective emphasizes that valuable connections are earned. And while ANYBODY can “know” those in charge, only a select few are “known” by the RIGHT people. And I believe that’s worthy of some praise; as opposed to the scorn the board receives.

It’s so sad so much is being studied and discussed by many smart people about real leadership. But you may get one manager for whom all this is crickets because all what matters is financial gain and employees are just cogs in a cogwheel. This is so unfortunate.

I worked with a guy that was obsessive about correcting people all the time even on minor technicalities. It got to the point of being obnoxious. I have told him about this behavior to make him aware of it. His behavior has not changed. It seems to be an obsession. I try to avoid conversations with him, while remaining polite. Sometimes it is a real challenge.
