This is the best video on art I've seen in a while. It really feels special to read everything Tatsuki Fujimoto draws because of the very adherance to artistic expression- from the mind to the paper. And one thing that I found really compelling is how he often changes & experiments with his artstyle in slight ways to fit the tone of the story while still feeling that it's by the same hand. The art of Fire Punch feels more cold and beautiful which is perfect for its setting, the art of 4-koma in Look Back that perfectly fits a middle schooler's drawings vs the art of a middle schooler who's better than any other middle schoolers but still not proffesional, the art in Goodbye eri is the most precise in all it's different angles fitting the looking through a camera framing, that the art of chansaw Man part 1 allows space for gorey action that feel hype af and clean intimate scenes to Chainsaw Man part 2's more organic rough style that can make just a kiss feel not clean rather extremely uncomfortable through drawing alone and the gorey violence feel not hype but tragic.
