I tried to make the same deck taking your base, what happens is that we have to play the queen at the end when 8 lore have already been won and play the queen with rush (vitalisphere, cut to the chase) having like 6 or 7 inks. Greetings

I really don't think the Brooms deck would have been too powerful if they made em all inkable TBH I think that decision is what will prevent it from ever being meta

Sadly, I that's what it is too. Having a meta brooms deck would have been really fun though, I am just hoping the new set counteracts the Amethyst Ruby meta, but it seems to only be stronger.

Nowhere near what it needs to be. Got to be more aggressive. If you dump your hand by turn 4, you are at the mercy of rop deck, and your opponents will come back on you every time. I do love the concept though

Donald isn't a terrible look here. I agree cutting the scars - what else would you use in hindsight? Is there any bodyguard in ruby/emerald?

Unfortunately no bodyguard, I think only steel and amber have that right now. I think Donald would be a great add especially since the deck likes to sit right at 4 ink. Other than that maybe adding in some improvise just for cheap card draw. Still had a lot of fun playing the deck and when it hits it really hits!

Nice try! Maybe try it with Emerald/Amethyst so you have some draw power to find Queen faster?

Yeah I built one with Amethyst but it kept The Queen exerted, the power that you get with Fan the Flames makes Ruby my preferred, I think with the new set we’ll get some draw in those colors

Yeah for sure, you really need to get the cards they only put one of in the deck. That’s why most of the upgrading would be adding more of those important cards.

Thank you for supporting us! And we recorded an unboxing of all the chapter one products, I am in the process of editing it now. I just had started a new job so have been super busy, however, that video should be up soon and we should be hopefully be able to do it with the next chapter this Friday

I appreciate this a lot! Got this deck mainly for the characters lol. After watching this video made the best choice because it fits my playstyle with other card games I play. Thanks for breaking it down as now I know my strategy when playing other decks.

what happens if both decks run out of cards before anyone can get to 20 lore counters. For example if both attack each others cards

To our best understanding, if someone is unable to draw at the beginning of their turn they lose. It could definitely be an idea with future sets, however it would be too slow at this point

Gotcha, you don’t have to combine any, all of them are playable right away, if you want them to be more competitive, you can buy two and just swap some of the best cards for the less good. For this deck you could replace Captain with a second Aladdin Heroic outlaw. Does that help?

Yeah we agree and from the couple tournaments we’ve done for opening weekend people aren’t super strict about it. I think this may be a rule change in the future

I’m interested to see if they add ink colors in the future or if these are it? I’ve never played any other TCG’s so I’m not sure how they usually work… 🤔

That’s a theory we have been discussing as well. An interesting addition would be some outside entity that tries to take away ink colors, so like a black or white or grey ink. Then they could tap into a black and white art styling

This seems like if Magic: the Gathering adopted some stuff from Hearthstone. Also the Shift mechanic reminds me of evolving in pokemon. Really exited to see how this project turns out, it has a lot of potential.

From what I can tell, it's literally MTG grabing combat sistem from Hearthstone, as well as their mulligan and the fact that creatures don't lose damage at end of turn. Curious to see how it will work out.

Yes agreed, lots of aspects from different games, from our gameplay and the events we’ve been to, it seems like the first couple chapters will be simple gameplay and then hopefully advance from there as most other TCGs have

The game is based off an existing IP which is a big red flag and it has unsplashable cards. The decks can be one or two colors, but no splashes allowed and no neutral cards to tinker with. All of that combined with the lawsuit against Ravensburger.... this game is a flash in a pan.@@IllumineerAcademy
