Definitely difficult to be prepper and nomadic at the same time , great juggling act for sure LOL Good luck with the trailer , have you considered a van ? I see a lot of van builds and van life videos sound like a fit for your style although probably harder on gas than trailer being pulled when you want to pull it, I'm guessing you've put a lot of thought in it. The expo looked like a fun day , good luck reaching the 10K mark , hope you have a great week

Where are you originally from. First time seeing your video. Your exploring around in nfld and staying in your car. Pretty cool I think. Are you coming to the northern penisula. Plenty partidgeberries down to st.anthony to pick and you could make yourself plenty money. Will I guess there,s plenty in that area on those roads where your at to. It be nice to meet you thou. You sound like a very nice person. That woman that balled at you don,t worry about her. I get people like that. Enjoy your life.

I'm in Gander definitely no shortage of woods roads around here to hide out on. I have spent many nights at Jonathan's camp ground , tent and a pop up camper when I owned one, many years ago. I prefer the logging roads now over camp sites too lol. I agree sometimes no connection to the world is good had a week this spring with no connection , now I was with a few other guys so it wasn't a lonely time lol. I am hoping to take my dog and do some camping in the back of my truck in a couple of weeks for a few nights not long term, I applaud you for taking a go at doing what you're doing in your car I think it's great if it's your choice and it's what you want to do, it's great. I have a habit of watching a video commenting as I watch , so my comments may seem all over the place at times lol, but I'm pretty sure I know where you were there on the woods road it's a great woods road to do exactly what you did, sometimes a bit of traffic but not bad. Now mid September Moose season will start so get a blaze orange vest to keep you safe from the trigger happy hunters. Have a great week my friend.

Always great to have good friends we can count on, I find either put the bolts back in the holes or in a bad stuck to the seat. That's a skill saw, that's a real good one he was using there. I'm 6 foot so I'd have to open the windows LOL. Great job on the build, have a great week

@tuckerandi ah ha! A skill saw, he told me that and I wrote power saw bahah I did mentioned I'm not a wood worker lol that's a great idea, I think I'll put the bolts back, cause I tend to misplace things! Thanks for your comment!!! I appreciate it, just getting back into car living and documenting it again, and it's been a struggle but I'm loving it!! Have a great week yourself!! 😀

@@The_Newfound_Nomad Because I misplace thing that's what I'd do with the bolts LOL. Just spent two days looking for my rain jacket figured I must have left it outside when I sprayed it down a couple of weeks ago and it blew away. Then I was cleaning up my back packs today and it was in the pocket where I put it last Friday to go on a hike in Twillingate , well not only misplace things I forget LOL. Looking forward to following your videos again , I fell way behind on my viewing over the summer maybe I'll catch up now lol.

Great video! :-) Recommendation: never let any of the 5 C's be out of sight. Always strictly ensure that the bottle returns to your bag immediately after each use. Murphy will pay a visit when you least expect it. Survival, by definition, is being caught by surprise by an adverse circumstance. If you're always ready you don't ever have to get ready. ❤

Hey thanks for these tips! Someone could probably build an entire channel based on the infinite uses of duct tape. And those who need a basic tool library should always have plenty at home, as well as in the car or truck and emergency stash tool bad--it's invaluable!

You have done an awesome job putting together an EDC bag. If I could make a suggestion, give your bag and all things cloth a coating of permethrin to kill ticks, spiders, and just bugs in general. This along with a good insect repellent to use on your skin can make a HUGE difference in comfort if you are caught out for a night trying to get to your long term bag. Also, since you said you go from city to woods, a small tool kit may weigh a lot but a simple pry bar, a set of lineman’s pliers, if you can and practice a bit some lock picks. I am not suggesting anyone break the law or anything, but in a situation you do what you have too to get home safe.

Oh yeah, and the ski mask can be the difference between a comfy night resting against a tree or wall and a cold night with only the poncho for a blanket.

Hello from out west. Useful “some ..things” In here :) . I like how multi functional a buff is. Maybe consider something like paracord in for shelter related option which could be supplemented in with said dry bag and biviy bag. Take CaRe

Hiya, lovely to see a female view on EDC. Just a couple of points, do not use tweezers to remove ticks, it can leave the head behind. Tick removers are really cheap and tiny so if you are worried about ticks then pick a couple up. Salt for minerals is important but you need something like Celtic sea salt not table salt.
