Great video. I know it's 2 years ago but how hard was it to get that starter bolted up? I have to do a starter on a 350C and I can't get to the bolts. It was interesting to see that you put the engine in first, thaen the starter...that gives me hope! lol

If you damage the plunger.....ok this is what happened the grappler stopped working because we lost a bolt out of the handle because it becomes stripped out of the he improvised and he couldn't get it to come out it was really hard to get out but I see where you remove the plungers very easily so anyway he banged and beat it out so now it's forged in some places is there any possible way for us to sand it down and for it to work again because like I stated it was hard to get out and I saw how easy it was for you to get out did that come from you were moving those bolts on top did that give you lie wage just pull those plungers out or what made those plungers easier to release

Hi Dillon. Where do you get your engine parts for the JD 350? I have M43TF 098444 T 1969-72, and can’t find a rear crankshaft wear ring/sleeve. Any help in locating this part would be greatly appreciated. I have followed your KZbin videos over and over again which have helped me incredibly to do this for the first time.
@DillonHFM

I think that is the same 152 motor that I have, I looked around a bit and don't have a straight 350 book, but on mine, the rear main seal came with the ring as part of it. My 350B book shows a part number of AR92893. It comes up as one part with the rear main, and installs as one piece, but comes apart when taking the motor apart. The inner bore stays on the crank, and the outer in the housing. I order from John Deere, or I search the part number and sometimes green farm part or one of the other sites has it cheaper. For other seals that are not a 2 part seal you can order Speedi Sleeves by size, and I have done so for other seals,

Just starting a rebuild on a 10 ton trailer. Not as bad as yours but the rear spring hangers actually tore away from the main frame. Those two rear hangers were reinforced laterally with a full 3" C channel x 8' long. Owner wasn't sure how it happened.....looking forward to your rebuild.

The T in the brake line is to drain water out of the system, that is the lowest point and condensation ends up rusting the bottom brake cylinder.

Where do you learn to do this
@DillonHFM

I worked in a hydraulics/ machine shop for a bit, otherwise this is just how my brain works. I take things apart, look at them, and fix them. A good use of google usually helps to find parts breakdowns, or for this I found specs for it in a machine manual that I have. If you can find a parts breakdown, you can see exactly how everything is supposed to fit together, and on older stuff, sometimes figure out if anything was left out last time through, and a manual is always good for specifics such as torque or lash.
