You look so beautiful with Grey hair. I wonder if that's the same for everyone. Also, why don't celebrities embrace aging? You are gorgeous, no doubt about it.

Am i understanding this correctly? You have to shampoo your hair first, then dry it, then apply the toner conditioner on afterwards?

You look young, your hair is fabulous. My hair is One year Silversary. I admit, it is kinda weird but all dark is too harsh for my skin. I do the side ponytail or braid and trim ends. The left side is down to my waist and the right is nipple length so the curly ponytail ends mid chest. I also have the dreaded grey frizz on wash day. I can go over a week without washing. My mom is 78 and doesn’t have much more grey than when she was 60. It it sooooo thick too. I have maybe 1/3 less hair at 59.

Beautiful. Question: Does it stay on or fade? I know when we eat, lipstick comes off, but sometimes lipstick just fades away 😢 Thanks for the recommendation 🎉😊
@amandasilversister5 күн бұрын
I definitely have to touch it up after I eat but I find if I use lip liner first it helps!

That second picture of you is exactly where I am now!!!! Almost six months in I am struggling with the brassiness on the ends of my fringe. I know now I’m going to love it though when it’s all grey because I’m seeing what my pattern is going to be like. I’m already loving the brighter tones. What else Ive noticed is that as my grey is coming through it just looks a lot “lighter.” I don’t mean lighter in colour, I mean weight wise it doesnt look dark /harsh against my skin and heavy if you know what I mean. I do think you are one of the best grey hair transformations on here by the way ❤

I think a lot depends on complexion too. Im scared to go natural because my light skin does not look good woth light hair. It washes me out. The darker colors look more youthful which tends to be more attractive due to signifying vitality, IMO.

Hi I'm just at the beginning of the grey hair journey. 4 weeks in. I have dyed my hair black for 30 years. When do you recommend starting with the purple shampoo, please? Also, I can't find the links to the products you recommend. X
@amandasilversister16 күн бұрын
I don’t think you need to start with purple shampoo until you see a fair amount. The concept behind it is to limit any potential yellowing caused by sun or heating tools so just keep an eye on it!! Oh let me work on the links!! I thought I had added them! If you are over in IG follow me there too as I can send you any directly!

I'm a new subscriber and watched your video to the end. I have not started my journey to go gray just yet. I've been watching various KZbin videos to get the courage at age 66 to finally embrace my stage in life and get comfortable with going gray. One more box mix in a couple weeks to get through a work event and my journey will begin towards the end of December, so I guess in a sense it's my 2025 new year's resolution. I think you are absolutely stunning and hope that I can look as good as you once my hair transitions fully. I'm a brunette and though I will miss my brown hair I am looking forward to something new. Please continue to "babble" and be authentically you, it's very refreshing!

I'm so sad, I was fully committed to my grey era but I had one major issue, the ghost of my last dye job. I had this leftover reddish brown color in the lower 2/3 of my length. I wanted to avoid dying it again but I wanted to do something to correct the brassy red especially in my ends. I bought a "medium charcoal" color rinse and only processed it for a quarter of the time it called for... My thought was I'd get a brown/grey color and it wouldn't mess with my silvery tinsel areas... NOPE it straight up DYED my hair and it came up a very deep rich chestnut brown, my tinsel patches are barely visible, and it dyed my roots a completely different color. I'm so so bummed. I'm hoping it fades to something more reasonable and I'm not starting all over again.
@amandasilversisterАй бұрын
Oh no!!! If it’s a rinse hopefully it will only last a short period of time!! Keep me posted!!

@sarahtyler3738Ай бұрын
Yes, several kinds. Don’t work well. Don’t cover blonde. Seems like only semi permanent silver color will cover but doesn’t stay long. I was only 1-2 x week. I really have tried everything. I have lots of white. It seems to stay pretty silver ok. Thank you for your reply. Yours is very pretty.

@@sarahtyler3738okay so if you have hard water where you live I highly recommend a water filter for your shower as it could be that or adding in a clarifying shampoo daily to remove any build up…. That may help! Then keep doing all the things you have been doing!
