Sly 2 do be objectively better, not sure if even as a kid I liked Sly 3 over 2, but I don't mind Bloodbath Bay that much. The 2nd stage is the worst one. Fucking ugly brown everywhere and the missions themselves are ass. Aside from the bar one.

the settings in sly 2 had this vibe that i wasn’t supposed to be there. it felt intimidating as a kid to walk around the streets, hiding from guards. sly 3 was fun at times but it didn’t have that uninviting vibe to it. the settings were more colorful and bright, to an extent. i feel like for a thief character, there should be a feeling that he isn’t supposed to be there, and he isn’t welcome which was accomplished imo in sly 2

I’m a personal fan of whatifalthist. I really like watching criticisms and analysis of his videos. I have one big problem with every fucking video. Everyone unfairly and blatantly insults him, personal character attacks and doesn’t give him any credit and just paint him as a right wing nut job. This may work for woke Normie’s or people who already hate him but it damages anything valid you might say for anyone more moderate or right wing.
