Again no dancing. What is going on? No wonder bands are so lackluster now when they play. What's the point when the crowd doesn't move. Does anyone wonder why bands don't bother with 20min on cores anymore? I'm 52 and was at Sydney show with my 22/28 yr old kids. And got shouted at for daring to be near the barrier dancing with them. The excuse that most of the crowd is in there 40s is a piss poor excuse. If you want to enjoy it while standing still stand at the back the front has always been for dancing. In the 80s and early 90s there where no barriers and no one would go down front if they didn't want to bounce. Now the front is full of Karen's complaining when they get touched. It's like you need to respect their space when the chose to be in the middle of the action. No problem with people not dancing but don't threaten and attack those that are there for fun. I spent the entire grunge era working lights and sound at large gigs and these people would be pulled by security and chastised for being stupid.

Different times brother. I'm 52 so at least we got to experience 80s/90s shows. Seeing Mudhoney Rollins band cramps iggy etc at a local leagues club sweatbox was awesome.

@@michaelminnikin4265 remember oncores? Some went as long as the show. It's like just a set list and out now. Sad to see bands that used to rock out now just stand sway and don't even put effort into losing their voice each show. Even people like slipknot concerts are like a tea party. Henry probably would still destroy though wouldn't mind catching him again before one of us dies.

@Gus Hopefully you first. Ha! Painters and Dockers , Hard Ons , Cosmic Psychos , Psychotic turn buckles, mystery of sixes , razor and way to many other cool bands. It was a pleasure to live in that era. No mobile phones, piss reasonably priced and tickets that most people could afford.

Wow, one of the better crowds in a long time at a SP show! The band is tight right now but this song and performance are nothing special... But damn the energy of the crowd is pretty awesome! That looked like a really fun time, lots of surfing and singing along... When the vibe is right at SP shows, there is nothing better
