Sam and I FaceTime a lot when we’re working remotely. We may say nothing for an hour, but it is a nice way of working together separately !

When I have “free time” I seem to quickly fill it with something else “to do” since I cannot sit still. However, I might workout, jog, play pickle ball that will help myself get out of the monotony and standard routine of work; this to me is a free time and not a chore that I must do. My biggest problem is just sitting down to relax! As always, thanks for the great tips and videos Jones!

You are welcome. I agree. It's something we informally do already. I've found myself being more intentional about doing it since learning more about the term.

Great reminder, especially about checking in with those we lead. Now, are there any leadership lessons that can help me get rid of all the little flies in my peace lilly? :)

Yes. Stop watering it as often. You can also use any type of home "pest killer." Just spray a small amount on the soil surface. If you want a more environmentally friendly option, Safer Brand is your choice. You're welcome. 😃

Thanks for sharing! I love the infographic and am going to order this book. In my upcoming book, I have a chapter on giving and receiving feedback. Having those difficult conversations can be helpful even though it is hard. I always tell people who tend to broadcast other people's shortcomings, "If you allow someone to continue making a mistake and offer no help, you have no right to complain about them." You've inspired me to create a post on this subject. :)

What would you suggest for someone who has not a 6 ring circus, but a 6 ring circus? Within that 3rd ring, are 3 or 4 more?

I do catch myself doing this. I always thought it was a way to connect with that person. Listening to this now I realize how I need to change my responses to support, not try to connect by sharing a similarity. Thanks for the reminder!!

Jones, another great iteration of the "Zone". As you shared your wisdom, I thought about an adage I try to personify that originated from a good friend...."be a leaders who says 'I GET to lead' instead of a leader who says 'I've GOT to lead'. I love the hat you placed front center....Wonderful choice!!
