Ahh you did the same as me. Nope. You're screwed. I think you have to kill 1 warchief. 1 of his bodyguards will be promoted. Then kill all the captains, then kill the warchiefs.

You want to laugh. I was down to the last warchief and only needed 1 captain. I killed the warchief and the captain became the warchief, so i had no captains left.

While you cannot do vendetta missions in the game anymore you can still get the trophy "Repaid in Blood" by killing an uruk captain who has the revenge target tag on them/is a revenge target. Revenge Target can be any Captain who killed you at least once or a grunt who killed you and was then promoted to captain. The best method to get this trophy in my opinion is to let a grunt uruk kill you and then kill them in revenge when they become a low lvl Captain. Also the Leaderboards are no longer connected to other users and only show your scores but you can still unlock the trophies "Lord of the Ring" and "The Hunt is my Mistress". (Those two are only for those who have The Bright Lord and the Lord of the Hunt dlcs or the Game of the Year Edition of the game) And lastly,WBPlay is no longer available but the "Orc Hunter" and "Gravewalker" runes are automatically given to you freely now when you start the game for the first time (I think,not the rune part but the "start the game for the first time" part).

You can't do roots in tesr of the ring.

You don't need to be in leaderbaord to get the trophy. As long as you achieve the objects of the challenge within the time, the trophy will popup.

Look for the blue skull mark with a crown on the map, u will find them by going to the marked locations. When u get to the warchief, grab and shank ur warchief in order to kill them if u don't have any intel left on captains.

If you have The Lord of the Hunt DLC, you can play this challenge. But you have to finish the story DLC first before playing the challenge.

@@Predatorwarrior18 Not the actual story campaign. There are two story expansions or DLCs. Lord of the Hunt and Bright Lord. If you finish these two DLCs then you will unlock the respective challenges.

I think you need to finish the DLC to unlock the challenge. You'll unlock the abilities/runes after finishing the DLC and those abilities are needed to finish the challenge.

I'm sure you've figured it out by now, but for others reading this, in the beginning he wasn't branding captains; he was gaining intel on them so he'd know where they were when he went after them with the graug. Then he branded the ones he needed, gaining intel on the warchiefs as needed. He could have used the ring early on to trim some time, given how much branding he was doing, and he stealth branding needs a little work, but other than that, it works.

This was the only achievement with little bit pain. Rest of the challenges and achievements were simple.

Those runs are with same level of abilities and no point of taking and equip them. Only Epic runes are worth to equip. Buy you can collect and sell them. I think I didn't need to do it as I upgraded everything and had good epic runes. That's the reason all the runes re scattered around.

oh forgot to mention now i only need the Test of the Wild achivement , which i heard is a lot harder , hopefully i'll manage to get it before Sequel comes out! hehe

you're playing SoM or SoW ? :P I've played it right when it came out (Shadow of War) , at first it felt so different from SoM , the animations , the movement , the fighting and the view.. but the more and more i play it , the more i love it! already got 26 hours playtime , playing it 24/7 when i'm free haha , i imagine there are people with more already , but it's a really good game and i'm glad i got it and ignored all the hate and backlash , it's so well made in every aspect , i hope it becomes GOTY... if not i'll be almost dissapointed , but it's GOTY in my heart anyway! <3

did you managed to get the achievement for test of the wild? i got every achievement besides this one for the test of the ring hence why i am here looking for tips and i really found this video helpful. If you did the test of the wild, was it harder or easier than this? and how did you managed to kill all the warchiefes so fast, in 40minutes, also how did you branded captains, you used wraith or how is it called to brand nearby uruks then grabbed the captain and branded him? ps: i loooove shadow of mordor, i only need this achievemnt

Have you played the main story? You earn points to upgrade your health bar. Once you do that, it remains upgraded for every challenge and DLC.

Shite happens man....Try again.

Use Shadow Mount to mount graugs and caragors and kill them off immediately after. U get bonus points for mount killing them (150 for caragor and 200 for graug) and gain intel as soon as u can. I would recommand to death threat all captains as u get more points the higher the captain's level is. Level 20 warchiefs and captains give u 1,000 points each! Use graug as much as u can because it is much easier and ur graug can eat them even if the captain hate graugs. I was able to gather 10,000-11,000 points after 25-30 minutes.

Mr_Bohowsky I found that the best way is to fast travel between two not just fast travel to the one you are trying to get the groug to spawn at. Hope that helps
