Very Nice review! Do you know how it compare in comparison to Scrambler 500 in « fun to drive » aspect (not the power and speed)? I already have a Scrambler 500 wich is very pleasant and fun to drive, that is what I look for.

Any fourwheeler i have owned has been fun to drive, just depends on what your own definition of fun is. I prefer a nice sound, good traction, and the rest doesnt matter to me (suspension comfort for example) to each their own

i wish to have a 120hz display but i have been on 60 on my entire life and not even display overclocking could do it it couldnt handle 30 or 70 or anything AMD software told me it could do 60:031HZ maximum.

You can laminate a slightly narrower piece of composite to the bottom/underside to thicken/stiffen the seat. Use adhesive .

an515-53 is the model type i'm using can this work for a 144Hz monitor or it has to be gotten from a similar model?

So I have a AN515-53 model, I just got a 120hz screen, but it has a 40 pin slot, but the cable from my laptop is only a 30 pin like my previously broken screen. If I replaced the cable with the one that has 40 pin, would that work? I’d link the amazon page to show what I’m talking about but KZbin would just mark it as spam and delete my comment if I did.

@@dan.kagamine yea I already figured out I wasted like $150 as it didn’t work a month ago and the screen didn’t turn on, i just stuck with a 30 pin cable and bought another 60hz screen. I wish laptop customization isn’t so restricting compared to PCs.

@@Vagrant7z Dang it this is scaring me because I have this model as well and my screen is broken and I need to replace it. I was already planning on upgrading to the 120hz anyways. I'm looking at some on eBay for $144. I'm going to open and make sure mine is not 30 pin before I order. If so, I'm going to just stick to the 60hz to be on the safe side. I really want to upgrade the screen as the 60hz was starting to look dim to me.

I had the Compact 24” for a about 8 years. For the last 3 years it didn’t really cut it up here in Boston. The problem in my estimation was the small cc. If the snow was even slightly wet, the machine was next to useless as it would only throw it a couple feet. I just bought the 30” Platinum SHO with the 414cc and heated grips. I think I’m ready to kick winter’s ass!

I want an Ariens 24 Rapidtrak, but my "new" 30 year old Ariens 28 won't die. Finally changed the friction disc after wrestling it the last few years. But even at its best, I have to lift on the handles to stop it from floating up. Despite the nice results on my biceps, I'd like to be able to dig down with tracks when I need to, but hate how slow other track machines are. Thanks!

Have you tried a weight kit for the front of the machine? That may keep it from walking up. I put weights (available from Ariens) on my Deluxe 28 and they helped. The machine still walks up in certain situations but not as badly as before.

I'm between the Compact and Deluxe 24" I hear it bogging down. For $100 more, I believe the Deluxe is worth it, but bigger and takes more space for storage. However, Delux has more power 12.5 lb ft.

It's a very attractive option to wood, but in the final analysis, it's just not practical. Why? Because 1) composite is softer and nowhere near as strong as wood, 2) most wooden boat seats are 12-14" wide and 3/4" thick, and composite only comes in 12" widths and 0.5-0.6" thicknesses. Game over!

works fine for me, my family, and friends, none of us are over 200 pounds the thickness doesn't matter much. you could easily reinforce them with 1/8 angle, still holding up to this day i still have no regrets doing it

That means its stripped and the threads will need to be re-tapped

I'm about to change the oil on my 09 LTZ 400 for the 1st time. I have the oil and the filter, but I don't have new O rings for the filter. How nessacary is it to change those ? Do we only need to change them if they're worn ? Or should we change them every time ?

It's nice that that machine has the shoot crank behind the control panel. I've seen some Ariens machines that have the crank in front of the control panel that looks like it would be awkward to reach over to crank.
