Mam please make clear on how much fabrics in width & lenght.Also please go slow on instructios ,specially on the measurements. Most of us are beginners so if you go easy & slowly one step at atime would be much easyer. You made a very lovely dress though.

Didn't quite figure how you did the straps with the elastic. It would have been nice if it was explained.

😍 My granddaughter has a dress/top like this and I decided to duplicate it. I made a paper pattern from it then thought to look for a pattern and instructions - perfection!! Thanks a million for this that works with my visual learning style and beginning sewing level, I so appreciate your detail! I love the simplicity of making the pattern right on the fabric!

Hello, very good video, and easy dress. I got lost when you wrote 'make the back armhole deeper by 1/2". How do you do that? Thank you.
@giveitaspin81493 жыл бұрын
Matching the shoulder seam and side seam just shave off the back armhole curve at 3/8 of an inch or 1/2”, the curve that falls over the shoulder blade, for the ease of movement. Hope this helps. :)

How did you get the front AND back of the dress? Was that part left out? 1m 54s you have a front in back you didn’t specify folding in forth to get both, in the beginning video there’s only a front half off the dress. Did I miss something here?
@giveitaspin81493 жыл бұрын
@1:34 separate Front and Back body and make back armhole 1/2” deeper. From and back neck is same. :)

Yes you can take your own measurements and follow the steps in this video. It’s a very easy to make dress. You can follow the steps here to make a maxi dress as well, if there is enough fabric. Have fun! ☺️
