If you have been sewing for a long time, everything old is new again, but Burda is really the only fashion sewing magazine available in the US. Every fashion cycle isn't to my taste, but Burda magazine consistently combines what is on trend with staple classics, and still has the best fitting patterns as compared to the big 4. After letting my subscription lapse during those terrible half the magazine is an "e-pattern" years, I've been pleasantly surprised as a re-subscriber. Instructions still a cypher, but really appreciate the quick look overview for the experienced, and I like the quirky interviews with textile and fashion designer features.

Mmm. Not thrilled with this issue. At least some of the “best of” retreads are fairly recent. Even some not marked as retreads look really familiar. Sadly, I won’t be buying this issue.

I have been buying Burda magazine since 2016, when i started sewing.But recently I've stopped. It's the same boring designs again and again.... Nothing fashionable and inspirational anymore.

Foarte proasta slaba BURDA . Modele fara valoare , repetative de-a lungul anilor . Am colectia revistei Burda fiecare numar incepand cu anul 1990 , iar din anii 1980 foarte multe numere - dat fiind faptul cain romania nu se gasea aceasta revista

Received this issue and was very surprised at the over stacking of patterns on so few sheets, making it very hard to trace though the price increased!!!😮. Not certain if it is worth the continued strain on the eyes to buy these issues any longer. Bad move, Burda!😢

So many repeats for subscribers! I decided not to renew (at the shocking increase to $160).

I am so disappointed. So many of this month’s patterns are old ones. Burda didn’t even bother sewing up new samples or take new photos. If I wanted a dress from 2010 or 2016 I’d just go back to those issues (I have all of the “best of” already). It’s really disrespectful of existing subscribers and if it continues it means the time for cancellation has come. Sadly.

The machine name (Juki) is Joo Kee, not Yoo Kee. 😀. The German video makes that error because of the way Js are pronounced in German, but Juki is a Japanese company. Js are pronounced like Js in Japanese. Cute jacket pattern. I may make this one.

A beautiful model! However, the instructions are not so well done. For the neckline, there is a slip. But the zipper is still sewn on so that you can feel the zipper tapes on the skin. It would be better to grasp the zipper between the slip and the upper fabric.
