I kid you not, that ice slide is probably the hardest thing in this entire game. The physics do NOT make sense - you can jump, but only after a certain point. If you start to slide, it's like there's a timer that prevents you from making another jump until you've slid far enough.

It’s a Rom hack that a guy worked on for 6 years. It’s fantastic, I’d highly recommend

its running on original hardware, that's why. I've played the game on an everdrive and ya it doesn't look as nice compared to an emulator, but its really cool nonetheless.

Ya it was some weird trick people found out years ago. Unless you saw someone else doing it you would probably never think to do it.

Before i say, you really shouldn't spam the same comment on multiple videos and send an In-Game friend request, it won't give you an answer faster. Anyway here's my controls setup, i play on Mouse+Keyboard. Some of these i don't ever use though. Techniques such as weapon switching are done manually: Move North: W Move South: S Move West: A Move East: D Face North: Up Face South: Down Face West: Left Face East: Right Action: Right Mouse Sprite Action 1: 1 Sprite Action 2: 2 Sprite Action 3: 3 Strafe: -none- Defend: X Dash: Mouse 4 Shield Bash: R Prev Weapon: Wheel Up Next Weapon: Wheel Down Weapon 1: Q Weapon 2: Z Weapon 3: E Weapon 4: C Toggle Auto Target: Left Shift Move Fwd: Left Mouse Move Back: -none- Move Left: -none- Move Right: -none- Quickslot 1: 4 Quickslot 2: 5 Quickslot 3: 6 Quickslot 4: 7 Modifier: Left CTRL Others are just for UI interface or chat, so no need to show em'.

Same, I mastered RS but couldn't get all the golds in BFN. The latter game is much more unforgiving.
