Dartmouth is the city of lakes, close to everything you want and need, my home!

Could you tell me on average how your winters are? I mean, aside from the occasional storm.
@corinnemcleod18042 жыл бұрын
@@sashlipinski7034 depends on where you live in Nova Scotia. I live in Dartmouth which is along the eastern coast. We have not had a white Christmas in 16 years. November is usually wet but not too cold, the year it got colder in November 1 to 5 degrees and it was really windy. December is about the same temp with the odd small snowstorm that gets washed away the next day. Last January mayflower we're coming out and crocus flower were out. Last year it didn't get cold until February, so below zero. We had a snow storm once a week but it would get washed away by rain, March was rainy. It's been colder this year with a bit more snow and we have had 2 freezing rain events. Our snow often turns to rain by the coast. The one thing I will say is people not from here often say it's colder but it's not your just on the coast and its damp so it feels colder than it is.

Chris, you live there? How’s it for heating in winter? I see a lot of homes with elec.baseboards, pricey? Heat pumps better?
@corinnemcleod18042 жыл бұрын
Electric baseboard is expensive and so is oil but that everywhere in Canada right now. Solar is on the rise and people use heat pumps and wood is popular as well.
