The sealed battery you are charging is really a Lead acid battery that has the top glued onto it. If you pry it open you can add water to them and MAYBE get them to come back to life if they are dead. Recovering them really depends on if you let the water evaporate out of it and then charged it. The low fluid will burn the plates and ruin the battery.

If anyone remembers the Arlec charger that was a CC/CA charger of 2Amps. It would fry your battery if you didn't time it right. This board would have been perfect for that sort of supply, especially on a boat where the Pri and Sec are separated by a transformer. ie. No Electrolysis issues.
@doraexplora9046Ай бұрын
I'm sure you got it from the FB in the comments. What you can charge depends on the input source. A variable CC/CA supply is ideal and allows you to charge anything. This module is just a glorified relay.

I fixed my exact same Harbor Freight 48” LED Light in under 5 minutes. 1. Take and awl or very small flat head screwdriver and shove it in small square hole on top of light and pry out the black end cap. Once the little tab releases then use a larger flat head screwdriver to pry out end cap completely. 2. Pull out the small chain switch. 3. Cut both black wires as close as you can to switch housing. 4. Connect wires together with a small Marrs type connector and tape securely. 5. Shove connector back into frame and put black end cap back in place, tapping lightly as needed to secure. 6. Plug in light into a switched power bar and you are finished.

I can verify this works because I did it today after watching your video. I purchased a 2002 1.8L Nissan Sentra with 50,000 miles on it. Keep in mind, I never heard of the infamous dipstick issue when I got this car. I did take it for a test drive, but wanted to check the oil before I purchased it but it was very humid, felt like ninety billion degrees outside, and I forgot to bring my rag, so I didn't pull the oil or tranny dipstick. The first thing I did AFTER I purchased the car was to pull the dipstick which was when I realized something was wrong as there was only the top of the dipstick finger pull on the tube with no dipstick. Again, I had no idea about the broken dipstick issue, I just thought it broke and no one wanted to spend any money on a 2002 car. I went to the auto parts store and picked one up. Ironically, they had a few in stock, lol... That should have been a clue. When I went to put the dipstick in my car I realized I could not get it in. It was then that I realized the dipstick was in the tube. That night I watched this video and the next day I gave it a shot. My first attempt did absolutely nothing, I was bummed and almost gave up as it just didn't seem like it was enough pressure to blow it out, I almost gave up. All I could do was curse myself and think about is how many hundres of dollars it was going to cost me to pay someone else to remove it because I could not do it. Fortunately, although I didn't remember you mentioning putting your finger over the tube to build up pressure until I rewatched the video today, I figured it out anyway and on my second attempt it shot out like a rocket.

I don't know why you've set a very low charger cut off of 12.1v? This is practically dead for a lead acid. Try 14.4v for a few hours. 😊

DO NOT watse your time removing the fender 😂😂😂 you can easily take the door off by opening it and removing the nuts that hold the door to the hinge. You then have easy access to the bolts that hold the hinge to the body.

That car isn't the Maxx it's the same as mine looks like LT . Any way the tire and inner fender panel don't need to come off just the filler neck bucket and you can reach everything i put mine on with nuts lock washers and bolts. would have took me 15 mins but i had time drilling rivets out with new set of bits i got from HARBOR FREIGHT they were junk they wouldn't drill out rivets had to get one at Lowes then everything went smooth and fast.
