I don't have the ears to tell what they are but I think the chord sequence that is used in a solea was "borrowed" by Rory Gallagher for a little improvised electric guitar introduction he did to his rock song Tattoo'd Lady whenever he played it live from 1978 onwards.

to me this tune is always thought of as "leonardo's head of christ" because that's the title it was giving on The Solo Album, the first flamenco album I heard that I really liked. I am still inclined to think of it as the best flamenco guitar record I've heard after hearing quite a few, including by Pena, deLucia and a few others.

I feel blessed that with you tube the world gets to see and hear such great flamenco performances … when I was a child I learned elementary ‘classical studies’ … very strict teachers …. Years and years later I get to see and hear flamenco, in more than a passing way, best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺 long live Algeria’s 🙏👍🎶

If I ever had to show a guitarist that could make the Duende felt everytime he plays the flamenco guitar, and put so much feeling in his music in everything he plays it would be you Juan.. There are few who master such a trait as this. Thank you for your dedication Juan
