J.A. Rogers' arrival to the U.S. as a child began an enduring legacy and his work is an introduction for all Black History enthusiasts. I'm also thankful for his wife who kept his estate going until her transition a few yrs ago.

This blackwashing of history goes too far in certain claims! It projects a certain sense of insecurity and half-truths! Cleopatra wasn't all African! Sure, Egypt is in North Africa, however, Queen Cleopatra was also part Greek🇬🇷, from her Father, descendant from the Line of the Ptolomy Kings👑; Alexander the great's Generals🗡️🛡️, who Colonized Egypt after Alexander's conquest of Egypt! You cannot just blackwash her Greek Blood and make her Super African to support one sided historical conclusions! You can't deny this fact of History! She didn't look like Elizabeth Taylor, nor did she look like Michelle Obama!

Where architecture evidence of these civilizations and when he talks about the Africans were great traders with other countries is he referring to trading his own people to be slaves, with all do respect to this man that doesn't sound like great civilization

I know of his books but have never seen his image before today. My ancestors and tribe are of one of the first tribes of West Africa, as approved by scientists. Ancient Egypt was founded by Black Africans and had many dynasties before European rulership came onto the throne. This is all verifiable at the British Museum of Natural History. Respect to this man's work. Peace

Totally wrong! There is not one shred of evidence that black Africans founded ancient Egypt and not one single civilization anywhere outside of subsaharan Africa. C. Williams was just a habitual liar.

When you say “ African civilizations “ which civilizations are you referring too?! I ask bc black Africans didn’t have the wheel until 19th century and to talk about civilizations sounds ridiculous. Also to conquer you need to have economic resources. Black Africans did not produce any weapons and had no chivalry to travel on armies . So how are you gonna conquer?!

I think most people don't realize that the European and other invading cultures were plotting and making attempts to take Afrika for themselves, centuries before the Berlin conference and I'm glad he's made mention of this. Afrikan civilizations first expanded into other parts of the world before our oppressors even knew how to read and write.

I just didn't take The Honorable Dr. Chancellor William's word about "The Destruction of The African Civilizations" (like he always instructed us not, too) - over the years, I have crossed reference this great body of work and found no discrepancies and thanks to The Honorable Mr. Tony Brown - great Brotha too -
