Why you make that man claim, that he was proud to be an descendant of Thomas? when at the time he surely wasn't🤨 he knew the real history and probably knew that there isn't anything to be proud of, the answer he gave let us know, if he was proud or not.😏 🤔now that something that I never paid attention to or notice, that back in the day, a lot of mix ethnicities (black and white), didn't claim that european side 🤨

1919 Homesteaders. It was about a man who left his black wife for the woman he loved in the Dakota region. It's a lost film. It premiered in Chicago. Why is that never mentioned?

At a time when things were far worse for ADOS people, Micheaux was able to make movies, so when you see today's minstrels complain or keep playing Stepin Fetchit roles, you know the problem isn't racism but ADOS people and the entertainers themselves.

Great interview! Unfortunately what they do not touch on is that the American form of capitalism makes profit maximization and shareholder value the only sacred cows. Lowering labor costs and eliminating labor protections via illegal immigrant labor (from countries they are pillaging for the resources) is fundamental to this system. Until you address predatory racist CAPITALISM we’re running in circles. Nothing will change.

Amnesty for illegals and the phrase "people of color" severely hurts black people. Lumping all non whites into a category called "people of color" assumes that we all are united vs. whites and all have the same interests and concerns. It gives the government and private sector companies an excuse not to respond to each individual ethic group's concerns.
