Thanks appreciate it! 🙌🏼 Dedham is nice but very busy throughout summer! Few good spots along the Stour all the way through to Cattawade. I also head down to Mersea from time to time and the river Chelmer has some great sections! 🏄🏼♂️

Based on the research i have done, i think the v-shaped sails on kayaks are far more effective and maneuverable than the circular ones.

Definitely used too much glue, I've used contact adhesive for years making costume items out of foam and you need the smallest amount possible, there should be next to no excess to squeeze out. If you need to do a repair again, use a brush to apply a very thin layer of glue, make sure it's gone tacky before attempting to bond together.

@@MattZab83 thanks for the advice and yes I think you are right! It hasn’t lasted but tbh it’s a bit of an awkward patch/place. Might try and fix it again at some point but mainly use a different board now! Although this one’s alright for little day trips 🏄🏼♂️

I bought this junk on Amazon and it always shows 000 and won't pump, I sent it back. And yet, they sold me a pump without a battery, as it turns out, they come without it, only the sellers show more expensive models in the video.

@@OlegVagin sorry you had a bad experience! 👎🏼 Yeh there is a cheaper model than this which is not portable (no rechargeable battery). I feel the convenience of it is worth the extra money though! ⚡️

Good video, my opinion, I would NEVER wear a Leash in my local rivers!!!! There's So many trees and garbage sitting under the surface, there's a Very high chance of getting snagged and stuck....people DO die from leashes, it definitely goes against common sense in some waters.....people also don't tether Kayaks or other applications, I've swam after mine many times, no big deal....Tether lines are made for surf boards, when you get hit by waves....they are Not made for low water or rivers. A life vest is a good idea obviously.

Thanks for the feedback and yes fair enough comment. The flow of this river is so slow that I feel more than comfortable wearing one. If it was fast flowing, quick release waist belt or no leash at all would be better

Getting in slowly over 3 to 4 mins stops the cold shock and wearing a thick wool hat helps. You will be able to stay in longer and cold adapt sooner.

This is a practice which gies under many name's but better to use what Stratosphere Aerosol Injection s which is what government s call them . The hand pump works great! However, if you're a bit lazy or paddleboarding with friends and family, an electric pump will save you time and energy.

A very good comprison, mate. There are so many versions of pumps.. My preference for compressor comes from "budget tool king" Harbor Freight. $100 gets 12v/20v programmable *compressor* w/p.s.i. cut-off, and worklight; works off you car plug OR 20v rechageable Li battery, fully inflates one 11'×32"×6" in 8 minutes, and one fully-charged 5aH battery can inflate EIGHT boards. Absolute BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK, Friends.. now, let's get out on the Tallapoosa River, it's 100° right now (!) in my Alabama❤

Yes it was pretty quick for a paddle! 😅 This also was stronger than normal winds so much faster than usual! Not sure of exact speed as did not have Garmin or anything on but at a guess must have been atleast double! Yes pretty much, unless you can tack
