Man, the inlay work on that guitar is actually looking very good. You often see LOTS of filler. Kinda like on Norlin era Gibsons. But. . . . . . . . A cheater nut? Interesting.

Put some good pickups in it, & it sure could! Of course a good guitar player, can make anything that will intonate, sound good! I'm imagining those stock pickups are high output? So just roll that volume pot back a little. But I'm a fan of all Mahogany body guitars. Like a Les Paul Junior as an example. Not as bright as a Maple top guitar.

I've seen a lot of cheap Deans but some of them cost more than i can afford. I put a thumbs up already because i know you're fixing to put the MOJO on this one.

An inexpensive guitar with sharp fret edges, imagine that! You'll find that on some, very expensive guitars! So you leveled a couple frets, filed the fret edges, oiled the fretboard & added a bridge that can be intonated. (Looks to be Leo Quan style) How about a humbucker sized P90? Somebody might pick up that guitar & get confused, ha! Lookin' good!

My Chibson plays like butter, better than my Gibson but yeah it was stripped down to the wood and let it dry for a year had my luthier do adjustments leveling and install all new parts BUT my Gibson sounds waaay better but one was $2300 and I have $500 in the other with case.

I’m sorry to have to correct you on your own channel but that is nowhere near worth $1500, they are made in Asia and brand new had a sale price of just over $400. In the USA , used prices had the around the $200 mark

Its a tough choice choice.... Buy a Chibson or an Epiphone or a Burny... There's a lot of choice out there and with little exception you'll sink double what you paid for the guitar on upgrades and "fixing" the guitar then you ain't that far away from buying a "real" Gibson... but as long as you are enjoying the process who cares! you can't take them with you to the after life!!

the tuners holes are way off centered. the one side is so close to the edge and the othe4r side is not. at least in the beginning of the video it looked that way
