Hi! I was wondering if you bind your items yourself or use a specific company?

Its nice to put a face with the voice. :) My son has not been officially diagnosed with adhd but we are pretty sure he does have adhd and you are so right. As parents we need research and do the best to help our kiddos so they can learn well and in a way that works for them! My son is 7 and starting 2nd grade this year.

I just googled ADHD in Adults and read the symptoms on the Mayo Clinic website and I have every single one. I don't know what that means for me since it changes nothing and it seems like the symptoms would apply to the majority of people.
@TheMommaLibrarian2 күн бұрын
Not everyone has ADHD but many people may experience some similar symptoms at some point in their lives. I think it becomes an issue when symptoms are severe enough to cause ongoing problems in more than one area of someone’s life.

I deeply appreciate you opening the door on this conversation and sharing your thoughts. I have realized through my own child that I too likely have ADHD and you’re so right, sometimes it is the parent who isn’t able to be as effective as they’d like. I’m absolutely in the “getting my $h!+ together” phase, but am struggling to figure out how to do so, though I know it’s a huge piece to a more successful homeschool. I hope you’ll consider sharing more about homeschooling ADHD children as an ADHD adult, as I don’t see much currently, but think it would be incredibly helpful and valuable to this community. Also, the part about picking curriculum for the homeschool teacher you are vs. the one you wish you were, snaps to that! I wish I could have learned that lesson YEARS ago. 😅

I count our ADHD work as health lol so I didn’t have to add yet another subject. Because I feel your nervousness every year that I’m doing too much. I don’t think you are, but I understand your feelings. So, one year I’ll do health with like nutrition, exercise, etc. And then other times I do his ADHD work as health instead.
