I myself am straight but found that a decent option for those who want it (and it isn’t like it will be easy to find, a lot of content is missable in these games) but one whiff and they start barking like mad dogs…. Gaming has had gay characters and romance options for 20 years now (see Knights of the old republic 2003)

That is correct and true; it was very well said. Logical as well. if we go ''historically accurate'' then the whole game is gonna fall apart. Daniel Vavra the game director shared a youtube video over on his X page which showed how he did his research for KCD it's fascinating

Its not because of historical accuracy, its beacuse Henry is a well established character they stated several times that he is straight, in the opening of the first game he already has a girlfriend, later on he can have a relationship with Theresa or bed Lady Stephanie, he can have a wild night with the priest and some village girls, there's also a quest given by the priest and in that quest Henry can lay down with three women, so it doesn't make sense to make Henry gay even if its an optional choice, btw I am sure almost 99% of the audience who played the first game or who will play this are straight men or teens, so why would they even choose this option. Im not saying that the game is going to be bad because of this, all I am just saying is that a I cannot accept this decision they made, however Im still going to play the game because I have been waiting for this for 6 years now, and Im sure Im going to enjoy it.

@materakoczi2519 my comment goes out more to the historical accuracy point. I completely get the base of the point and tbh I don't think it needs to be in the game. I agree that Henry was completely straight in the first game and that's how i will continue to play him. To me it's only an issue if it Is forced upon me. People could argue that we have people who married have kids had sex with multiple woman and then went gay. I just think its such a small point to even be so upset about. I am not a fan of it either but that's not going to stop me from playing how i play. Which is a straight henry as under no circumstances I will pick the non straight option. I also have a feeling it might have some consequences. I just think the reaction people have had is way way way over the top. And I do agree with daniel vavrs and warhorse not handling it as well as they could have. But the outrage is ridiculous

I mean I watched I think 3 Dev streams as they were showcasing the game and many people asked about the PC specs of the game, I myself still rocking 1080Ti XD and they said it's gonna run it, so you don't have to worry with 2080. at least I think so

@@TimonHubunfortunately everyone wants a brain dead game with increasing stats, grind and the ability to steal everything that isn’t nailed to the ground, while forgetting that rpg is supposed to be about shaping the playable character and roleplaying an interesting, often flawed guy, by some ways.. Where's the fun in playing rpg and autosaving every 30 seconds to not only make no interesting choices that could be potentially dangerous, but also to steal everything completely consequence free? That’s also why saviour schnapps and the new crime system is put into kcd2 and it's a good decision for those who still know what rpg really means

One, who wasn't truly negatívne and I explain: open world sendbox just wasn't his favourite genre. He didn't like first person combat (improved in comparation with KcD 1) He didn't like saving system (which is hate by most people except few Core fans as me who see it as feature) And legitimite criticism on hitboxes on animals (that's horendous and was horendous in KcD 1 too). It just didn't look like if you hitting them. And even this review werent negative

yeah and I love it. just I did hope to get those free updates on release but still good
