I get what you mean. I feel there are a few pictures that could have been enlarged a little more to fit in better on the page without all the white background. I do think that castle page I started here though is a favourite of mine, and I love how it turned out in the end.

Beautiful work! I love your videos ❤I would like to buy about 36 polychromos pencils. I have been using school crayons so far. Could you advise me what colors of crayons are worth buying for coloring book (Basford Enchanted Forest etc.)? What is your must have? I would appreciate your advice😊

Thanks for your lovely comment. A 36 of Polychromos would be lovely, then you can buy some individual extra pencils as you need them to add to your set (most good art supply stores would have individual polychromos for sale). Polychromos is so lovely to layer, so you can create a lot of beautiful combinations with the 36 set to start with. My must haves are Earth Green Yellowish, Permanent Green Olive and Chrome Oxide green, for your greens. Then I’d add in beige red, Cinnamon and burnt carmine. Terracotta and Light Yellow Ochre are beautiful. I do like some of the cobalt combinations too, like the Deep Cobalt Green and Prussian Blue. Some of these you may find in your set, others you may have to buy seperate. Hope that helps

Exactly so, when I was a child, with the winged seed fruits of maple trees. I am from Rhode Island, in New England (USA). We called them simply "nosies." I am so glad you are using the Derwent Drawing set. I have just acquired a 24 set, and am a bit afraid to use them, so beautiful, so rich smelling and expensive. This little miniature is taking up their quality like a thirsty bird. Delightful, and perfectly worthy use for them too.
