269$!!!!!!! what the actual hell! I'd just get a raspberry Pi and an HDMi display and that way I can simply use Qt or something for my UI!

@@david-biskupek coding for these is insanely complicated tho honestly. specially GUI stuff. and like that's like 200$ more expensive I rather wait :P I WAS thinking of an ecnlosure display for my 3d printer but I can use my simply 16 bit parallel display I guess. with my lpc1768

awesome! I actually was writing my own library for GUI but it's really hard and taking long. I should see if the library supports my LCP1768 plus ili9486. i made the mistake of not checking how well supported the IC is before buying the display... I had to scraetch my head for 3 days to figure out how to use it from purely the data sheet (i'm a beginner)

What is the cpu load and framerate?

I didn't measure it, but it will be at 100% since its permanently drawing. The "animation" is just a nice side effect which results from the slow performence. I dont render the whole 800x480 every time, i just paint the pixels which should be changed. community.ugfx.io/topic/395-meter-and-dial-widgets/#comment-3805

You should post up your code! That is the coolest thing I have seen on a UI framework in a while!
