Laying in bed all day, can’t get out of bed, people around me calling me “she” just feels like a stab to the heart, my dad doesn’t even really support it, he believes it’s just a phase and I’ll grow out of it all, but I’ve always felt like this, and that’s the truth, he thinks it’s a trend with me and my friends but it’s not, I’m a boy, and always have been, I just was scared to tell him, my mum supports, she even bought me three binders and working on getting my hair cut, I think my dad is still learning about it all, he’s told me he’s just scared and concerned for what will happen to me if I’m trans, the world is a cruel place. A couple weeks ago I hurt myself because I was so tired of it all, but my parents are here for me, and support me through my ups and downs, and I’m even getting a gender therapist to talk to privately, I’ll always appreciate cavetown, the relatable songs and the feelings put behind them are incredible, cavetown keeps me living, I listen to it everyday, thankful for the ability to listen to such a gift of music, I’m Lucas. I’m very thankful for my supportive parents too. <3
