I'm in the middle of making my own gods. I don't have 39 of them, but I have some really cool ideas. All gods can be "killed" but good luck, and if you do get the job done, they will be reborn elsewhere. Evil gods and creatures are allowed because free will is universally accepted. Evil creatures are also necessary to keep good creatures from stagnating. The gods view them as a wildfire for an overgrown forest. Not every god is intelligent, in fact, there's a few gods that aren't any more intelligent than an animal simply because they are pretty much divine animals. Gods don't need worship, you are there because they don't want to rule over a dead planet. Most gods care for the mortals, others barely notice, but ones that gather worshipers like the worship, but whether you do or not doesn't empower them. There's 4 levels of gods: Greater God Lesser God Cult Daemons Guardian beings Cult daemons aren't gods per se, but they can offer powers. They're also not all evil. Basically they're the source for Warlocks. My personal favorite is Caelun, a simple housecat. He's not even aware he has a cult or is even a daemon. But he likes tuna. Guardians do not care about you. They're barely aware of you. There's two of them. One I haven't hashed out yet but it is the guardian of the living earth. Ajaxle is the guardian of the open sea. He's a megaladon. If you encounter him he may attack, he may save your life, he may just move on. He really is just a giant tiger shark. No one knows how powerful the guardians are because there's no talking to creatures incapable of speech. I have a giant tree god based off redwood trees. The sun and moon gods are also the gods of love called the Waltz as they're a husband and wife always dancing together, though the moon goddess, sometimes she likes to lead. The orc god recently stopped being insane and the war god playfully fights his daughter who might be able to become a goddess in her own right.

I had not gotten anywhere near finishing campaign 2 of cr and so never knew of ruinus, yet we ended up doing something similar. I also have an alien threat in my current campaign that has to do with the moon, but in my case he's not extra dimensional. He was spontaneously born inside it and has almost a millennia ago escaped. Now, he's an unknown threat the players currently don't even know about, despite one of them actually helping him a bit.

You're really talented in reading out loud and story telling, It's difficult to properly understand the voice in the beginning (I'm only 15 minutes in while typing this). Perhaps adding subtitles to select portions that might have a harder to understand voice might help this. Otherwise this is very well written with a lot of lore and has very good storytelling. Keep at the great work!

Thank you all for another delightful campaign, even if it ended in Nox doing the one thing he tried to avoid for 200 years. Cannot wait to return as a whole new big boy.

Hi all! Unfortunately the last couple hours of this episode somehow got cut out during editing, at this stage it can't be fixed as we no longer have the original audio.
