Good old Deep Purple , still rocking ,fair play ,strong echoes of their past , thumbs up

This brings back the time they played the Unit One in Uxbridge [ yep I`m that old ], I used to help Dell do the records and got on with Dave mainly because we were both Gene Vincent nuts, for bands playing there it was always a very tough crowd and this was one of the very few that went down well. You had to sound authentic or there was silence after every song and some very mean blokes there, as the Polecats found out. I`d say Dave Phillips and the Blue Cat Trio were the best British Rockabilly band about at the time
