Guys on the comment section...be gentle with him, he is still a kid...kids usually like that they talk big but that doesn't mean he is not humble. He is 16 for god sake give him some chance to feel a bit proud of himself.

When are Americans/Westerners gonna learn that ‘Johan’ is not pronounced as ‘Yohan’? It’s ‘Joe-hun’……only Europeans’ names with the letter J are pronounced as Y.

He's been in Edmonds camp since he's was 10 years old and is now in the UFC as a great prodigy. Let him work on his wrestling game at AKA but it would be a totaly unloyal bitch move to completely switch camps now. AKA didn't get you to the UFC, 11- 0, 10 finishes. GFC did.

If Edmond wants to succeed he needs to leave his coach and get better management he has very good potential but his management is going to screw them up

Glad Skinner won..you can't wrestle every round and only be dominate in the first and expect to one..one dimensional fighter
@GridironMasters2 жыл бұрын
you can just wrestle but you can't just wrestle and be ineffective in the end. Similar to how you can just strike but not if you don't win. Comes down to winning. Do whatever you want/need just win.

Maybe Skinner was given points for all those submission attempts? She was going for leg triangles and guillotine chokes. In any case this was an unusual decision.
@Zyenaux9 жыл бұрын
Bullshit win, Kyra should've won, dominated the entire fight, points wise she still won. Judges were either fucking morons, ignored the fight, or forced to make her win.
@CharlesHarmonHealth-Wealth9 жыл бұрын
Zyenaux I would see Batara as the better fighter. She absolutely won round 1. She started to get tired in the 2nd round and didn't attack Skinner like she did in round 1. Skinner began to strike Batara with hands and Batara did little to deal with those strikes but try and take Skinner down. When Batara took Skinner down in the 2nd round she was less effective with the Ground and Pound (there was NO Pound). Meaning less effective ground strikes. This open the door to the judging. It got worst in the 3rd round and Batara was just holding and not striking. Batara needs to improve her conditioning and standing hand strikes/boxing to move pass this skill level. It is the only reason Batara loss this fight by split dec. I see that Batara has a 4-1 amateur record and if I where in her coaching team she should have taken more amateur fights (at least 3 or 4 more) before turning Pro. Batara will have a difficult time until she balances out her ground and standing game. One dimensional fighters have difficulty unless you are just really good in your specialty. Wrestling alone will not do it. She must add Bjj and then elevate her stand up with boxing or kickboxing or which ever choices that fit into those categories...ie Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Sambo, Judo Wrestling, Bjj...ect

How does Kyra Batara lose when she totally controlled this fight and basically smash her opponent?
