Hey mate I'm about to buy a 2007 kle 500 but it isn't running do you have any clue on where to buy engine parts or rebuild kits

Here in Greece this model(the colouration specifically) is the most expensive of all kles. Back when i was looking for buying a kle500 ,there were around 200 listings in various sites and off these only 2 were this colour amd they were going for over double the average price of any regular kle from the 90s. In my opinion it probably is the prettiest as well

how much speed is comfortable with this windshield?
@icantchew
@icantchew Жыл бұрын
Depends how tall you are and what helmet you have I guess. It's definitely an improvement over the original. bike will do about 150kph with this windshield on there. I'm just over 6 foot tall and the wind hits me just at the top of the head. You could modify the bracket to make the windshield sit higher to deflect the wind a bit taller.

Not really that's why I bought this one. There are newer models coming out but they obviously are not as cheap. You could look at something like a CRF250L with abs, that would be a bit better offroad and the abs would make it a bit safer but it wouldn't be as nice on road. Not sure that you will find them quite as cheap as the KLE's at the moment either.

Hi Daniel, Cool video, seems the kind of fun I am after with my partner, I just googled Monarch 17 and this came up, I hope you dont mind sharing with us how comfortable the boat is for 2 or 3 people for about 2 weeks of sailing, what sort of swell and wind can manage with ease. how roomy is inside, cosy to overnight? Cheers, keep the fun up

+josue hernandez Hi, it is a great little boat very comfortable. Fine for 3 better for 2. Very well built with self righting abilities and in built floatation. l was looking at larger boats like the RL24 which we had when I was growing up but am glad I bought this as it is much easier to manage in the water and also to tow. For a small boat it feels big inside. I haven't had it out in any big winds or swell so sorry I can't help with first hand experience in these situations. Another family member has the Careel 18 which is a great little boat also but I prefer the more open feeling of the Monarch and the additional safety design features it includes over boats like the Careel. It has a small skeg keel that means it wont go as shallow or possibly sit as flat as some others but I haven't fount this an issue like I thought it would be. It tends to swing around at anchor in a current if the rudder is up but can easily be remedied by leaving the rudder down.

+Daniel Toohey thanks for your reply. i bid on the monarch on trademe in nz but sadly the deal d8d not go through instead I got a kestrel 18 which I rebuilt from gel coat up. love the open plan of the monarch by go used to the mast step after modified the kestrels cabin at the bow. stayed on for a week with no issues. I still think the monarch is safer and more practical tho. keep on the good times !
