I truly agree, this is only a demo and I'm already wanting to play it in my spare time when I'm not recording so it's such a good sign. There has been so many good games abandoned these days and I really hope this isn't one of them

i get what you mean, i do think that this game has a fair bit of potential, with base building and skill learning that does mimic Zomboid a little. Im really excited to see where it goes :)

I'm not sure I would say worse. At this early stage, I would more say you have to look at its potential and hope they devs pull it off. I would say back in the day people said the same about 7d2d and dayz :)

Every time I look at 7d2d I can only see the dev's lingering incompetence. Over a decade in development and with 1.0 coming out, the game still looks and plays like shit. Zomboid also shows dev incompetence with a decade of slow development, but at least it's going somewhere and doesn't look like shit. This game though... we will see.

Ohh a 100% 7d2d could have been what everyone was asking for but Performance issues and stuttering with the zombies and textures not looking loved can really impact people love for the game as it doesn't look loved by the people who are developing it. All I can say is thank god for the nodding community, doing what devs cant

​@@DirishFella Didn't know it was free, I'll edit this later to tell you what I think <3 Edit: I've played it and overall I'd say it was fun! I liked the ragdoll physics cause who doesn't. I don't know if the game is directly inspired by project zombied but as someone who has played that game alot the games for sure both are very realistic, most things I can say about PZ I could say about this but thats not to say this game doesn't stand its own. The 3d automatically added immersion and the included items you start with tells you better exactly what you need, you can also know where to get those items cause of common sense. Its not perfect though, I got stuck in a window-side bench and had to die to restart, its not very well optimized and even with low settings lags on my computer (which is not a crappy laptop or something like that, it is a costom-gaming specific computer which is why I bring this up). overall I'd rate it like a 7/10. As a demo its already insanely polished and I can't wait to see more of the game! Good luck <3

Hahaha deer in the head lights is a 100% accurate. I'm still trying to figure out where the sounds are coming from, so in my head I'm always trying to think but I'm such a noob. Loving the experience and learning a few of the maps it's great fun. @DirishFella I can imagine! The fast paced nature of cod and similar games means you are more used to being shot at, dying and respawning into the action again.. a slower paced game is scarier since you always inevitably let your guard down and then a rustle in the leaves has you shooting wildly in every direction in sheer panic a la the first predator movie in the jungle 😅
