I recently replaced my headlights with LED’s. So easy on the Murano. The tail light bulbs are a pain because you have to slide out the complete assembly

Be careful because if you replace it and it breaks again… your thermostat is in the half open or full open… this will cause the filler neck to break…. To much pressure build-up in the system.

I'm just curious about the belts lining up with the new pulley. While you were showing the part about making sure the spacing was correct on the ears, I noticed the pulley was set back a few millimeters from the position of the original alternator. Did that create any problems?

Another piece of information; the set screw usually does not fully come out, it starts slipping half way, you think the screw has been fully backed out, but it has not. So if you try to pull out the lock cylinder block at this point, it won't come out because the screw is still in the block. I got the screw all out by pulling the lock block hard to put some tension on the screw to make the thread to engage again, in the same time continue to turn the screw until it is completely out. After that, the lock block is totally free, and can be pull out easily.

BTW - removing the door panel is necessary for the keyless Intelligent Door Handle. The screw hole trick works only for the base trim model without the keyless entry feature.

Thanks for your informative vid, I learnt enough from it to fix my door, specially how to disconnect the lock rod to take out the look. Saved me a lot of headscratching.
