I play with knight-archer-knight-cleric. Great party))) archer is used just for water-air magic, most of the time he runs with sword and spear) Once I tried knight- mage- paladin - knight. The first 1/2 of the game it was very fun, but then it just didn't work.

Enchant Item looks like "Treasure lvl 4" to me. Stat Range 6-12. Highest Treasure lvl would be L6 drops from dragons. Regen gear and "10 all resi" can be purchased as early as Castle Ironfist, and can be easily enchanted.

How many times do you need to clear dragon sands etc to get this high level?

Thanks for the video. Useful. But some icons in this video are incredibly confusing, like learning, merchant, meditation, bodybuilding, diplomacy. It would have been even better to write it down in words. I had to turn on the sound and listen to understand.

This is a very bad & useless video. You can achieve even better results by using a save editor. I can become WAY more op in less than 2 minutes. You are saying I am a cheater? This is the same. At that point you will have flight / town portal... how else do you kill those high lvl mobs if you do not even have those spells which can be bought at free haven? All these secret paths are redundant due to TP, Beacon and flight.

As someone that did literally tens of thousands of enchantments with save/load on MM 6-7-8 and later on the Merge mod, I can confidently say that; "No, time and phase of the moon does not effect enchanting". To be 100% sure though, we need a sample of at least 1000 enchants at Morning - Noon - Afternoon - Evening and Night each, and to list them all down. Then the same experiment with every phase of the moon. And to compare the results. But I doubt there will be a distinguishable difference in them. I have absolutely not experienced any difference on the results other than RNG (All Resist enchant sometimes showing up in a row, and again at the same moon phase and day time sometimes showing up after 70-80 enchants for example)

Enchanting is huge at the beginning but once I reached the mid game I noticed that enchanting only gives "mediocre" enchantments. If you are expert water they get slightly better but for example on weapons there are 3 tiers of flame/frost/air/earth dmg. Even expert/master only gives you the smallest enchantment with max 1-6 2-5 3-4 dmg. So even if you find the "vanilla" best weapons/armors you can only enchant them with mediocre enchantments. This is why the only way to find the truly strong items are to farm / open chests. The items you should maybe keep: Doom (+1 to all stats) is good for early (especially early) and mid game. Resistances +10 is great for the entire game. Spell/health point regen is insane early and still somewhat good mid game. Also Armor class items (especially rings) are very good early / mid game. Spell points / health points are also insane early when you work with small pools. The use of armor class and hit / spell points rings is the best way to beef up squishy sorcerers / clerics. The major reason to use enchanting is to get that early full gear equipment with good items with mediocre but useful enchantsments. Also you can just enchant every item/weapon (250 gold and more value) and then sell them. Great way to instantly double or if you get the Value enchantment increase the value of your items by 10 times. If you have a high merchant skil it's even a good and viable idea to buy items from shops, enchant them and either use them / sell them. I even sometimes was save scumming to get great items early ;)

I think there's a well in New Sorpigal that gives you a few points of luck, but only if the stat is below 15(ish). Maybe its not worth it, but it's still free.

I have played this game for years and keep coming back to it. With a different group it becomes a new game. I enjoyed your run so much...very entertaining! He could be referring to all of them. The pass between Castle Stone and the rest of Frozen Highlands saves you from having to go around through Free Haven. The 2 you pointed out also make sense. It might be just a general statement about mountain passes, even though it's "listed" as Secret Passes.

You can ignore Disarm Trap and put your points to Perception instead, you save some points and the effect is basiclly the same plus you need Perception anyway.

Would be interesting to see how it works in turn-based mode. Would give you more accuracy. I don't remember how it is in MM6, but in 7, if you have low enough recovery you can get crazy stuff like 30 attacks in a round even in turn based.

The double shot is probably what makes the difference, even through the resistances.

Playing MMVI as A-10 Warthog. BRRRRRRRT! And really - who need those pesky ancient weapons? The only thing real heroes need is good old bow. Which is actually incredibly busted when leveled. MMVI has horrible weapons balance.

This took me about 3 hours to complete on my first attempt. I did come out at level 24 with about 300K gold. I didn't have to grind XP or gold the whole game. It made it very enjoyable. (KPPS run).

The tomb of Ethric the mad isn't so interesting to me. The layout is symmetrical. The aesthetic is the same as Carlogan's estate. Ghosts and Liches are annoying. The loot is pretty good. It is a short dungeon however. So you can get in, bludgeon Ethric and get out. You can skip a bunch of rooms if you know the layout. If most dungeons were like Ethric's tomb, then you could just Speedrun the game avoiding most combat. In other words, it's a bad design. Controversially, I enjoyed the supreme temple of Baa. The maze of booby traps was hilarious. The chest in the middle with the missing key felt like a challenge. There is a paintball arena layout with the wooden crates. You can join Baa with the riddles. I love seeing notes and riddles. Seeing the face of Baa in the middle is actually pretty amazing. It's a shame that 3DO just applied a generic stone face. The cookpots in the middle room with the hot floors are interesting. I love gaining permanent buffs and that constitutes good loot. Granted, my party was over-leveled and extremely tanky (KKKD). I could see this dungeon being annoying for a SSSC party with the druids and magicians. Solid B tier for me.

I am playing MM6 right now with a KKKD party. I am in the late game, I just cleared Castle Darkmoor. I am amazed how easy the game was so far. The oozes were hardly a bother to me. I just equipped my knights with enchanted weapons and smashed the attack button. In fact, most of the game is easy with this party. You get loads of utility with the Druid, loads of hit points and armor with the Knights. I mostly play in real time and it feels like I am clearing dungeons in record time. I highly recommend a KKKD playthrough.

Hi mate, I love seeing how people like to do their own opening strategies if they're veteran players. Some things to note, not sure if you know about them but here they are - If you search the side of the bank in new sorpigal, you will obtain a fly scroll. If you touch the inner corner of the Bucaneer's Lair guild roof, it will teleport you to the +20 stat dragon sand shrine. Then if you touch the longer wall on the outside of the shrine, it will teleport you back to new sorpigal (You can also touch the inner wall of the shrine to portal to 3do headquarters, but I definitely consider this part cheating since it's infinite gold up to 10k + infinite potions etc). The best party is also Cleric + 3 sorcerers. With an emphasis on Air Magic(Sparks) And Meditation early on, and getting the wizard quest out the way for a bigger mana pool. Then late game you have 4 people that can use Shrapmetal to obliterate everything. And a stat buffer via light magic. I personally just go > Ironfist > Get Disarm + Expert Disarm > Lord Kilburns Shield > Expert Air Magic + 3 Sorcerers with Spark + Meditation and you can immediately start blasting the early dungeons for the main quest and get right into it. Also the Cavalier quest in Freehaven when you're making your way across the area. If you also just rush starburst and meteor you can go immediately into farming artifacts and great gear + exp/gold from dragons and giants since u can have them at range, hover your mouse over them and quick cast the abilities and it will kill them without having them be agro'd/aggressive. But this is also a bit scummy, but if u get enough mana u can also do this without needing to cheese it. Anyway, the game is amazing and there was secrets I found like in the temple of baa, you can use telekenesis to reach a mosaic on the wall in a large room and a secret chest is in there. I never found this in my first 5 playthroughs or so, just very cool extra stuff all the time.
