Awesome message Pastor Rick. Praise the Lord for leading you to expound the Scriptures so concise in Proverbs 23:20-25. Thank You Lord for giving Pastor Rick, through the Holy Spirit, your words to speak to us. May we apply it to our lives. Amen.

Very true. Just because you believe you said a prayer, doesn't mean you can go forth and live in sin afterwards.

Why does the reprobate die and go to gell? In this Augustinian world view, what do they need to accept the truth of the Gospel if it is powerless without regeneration? In this world view, everyone who is in hell today is there because of what God didnt do. God is greater and man is more repsonsible than these "Doctrines of Grace" allow.

Wow thank you for those words. I have felt discourage even now. I totally agree, reading and seeking understanding from above, helps me have hope, God´s words re-strengthening me, setting aside my will to keep his will in my heart and mind, even when one´s basic needs are in quicksand.

We need to be careful how we interpret scripture. How can one preach on John 6:44 and not bring up John 12:32. Before Christ was raised up, the Father was drawing and giving to the Son THOSE THAT LISTENED AND LEARNED FROM THE FATHER. This in no way has the idea of force. No one has the ability to come unless they are drawn. Then those that come will be raised up. John 12:32 says that once the Son is raised up He (the Son) will draw all men to himself. Just like the parable of the wedding feast. Matthew 22 All are called but few are chosen. Who did He choose? Those that came dressed in the right wedding garments. The Gospel is a universal call for all to come. It's a true honest call. We are required to come. These calvinistic/augustinian doctrines make God out to be the arsonist and the firefighter. It says God created man, then determined him to fall, then punished him for falling, then sent his Son to die to make a way to fix what he determined them to do, then picked a select few He would apply that attonement to , then passed over the rest leaving them in the state He determined for them. All for His glory???? He calls them through the Gospel to beleive but doesnt give them the ability to do so. We need to understand that God is greater and man is more responsible than these so called "Doctrines of Grace" allow. God is most glorious in His self sacrifice for all because He truely loves all and desires all to be saved. God is not most glorified in His rejection and damnation of most of humanity just for His own self-glorification.
