Well done in this campaign. It was a lot of fun to watch you oversome some obstacles in the early- and mid-game to become so powerful. I cant wait to see what you do with Kong in the next campaign!

Nice expansion today (especially through annexing your vassals). Looking at Sardinia Piedmont's and Italy's missions, I still think you should try to go that route.

Thanks! The expansion is going a bit slower than I'd like if I want to get all the areas that I want. But I think if I pick it up some, I can do it. I'm looking forward to getting back into Paris. My troops miss it there. lol

Great video! Indeed, the military idea of "quantity" would have been useful for you to have at ages ago, manpower was limiting you in many wars or so I noticed. I don't understand why you chose not to have the Poles as an accepted culture if you weren't planning on converting their provinces, and yes, you're past the time you needed allies. At this point, sometimes you keep a vassal in some annoying place to deal with, like Iceland, to maintain the dynasty with royal marriages in roleplaying, but yes, Norway is past the point of being useful.

You are absolutely right! I should have taken quantity a while ago. Manpower has been a struggle for far too long. But hopefully that won't be the case for much longer. I should accept Polish as an accepted culture. I always forget to accept cultures. I should have thought about that since I was looking at it a bunch with the German cultural fragmentation thing. I'll have to do that in the next episode! Norway will be going soon. I think I'll likely hang onto the Ottomans for the time being. They could be useful in the upcoming France war and the future Venice/Spain war as well. But even they are getting close to being beyond use (and will be there for sure once I get over 1 million in my army lol). Thanks for watching and for your thoughts, they are always helpful!

Great video! About what to do with Germany, besides the mission tree sheningangs, maybe unite all the Germanic countries in some way? Like directly conquering the Low Countries and trying to get the Nordic countries by conquest, pu or vassalization, plus the Baltic countries and the Finnish region, especially since it will be important for trade in the Baltic. Other than that, conquering one entire colonial region? Like Argentina or Canada, or even trying to revive the historic colonial empire of Germany and the Netherlands in Africa or Asia? Or alternatively, trying to break the Catholic power by balkanizing France and Spain and the Italians and converting the new countries.

Ohh, there are some good ideas in there! Thank you! I like the idea of conquering (vassalizing or PUing) all of the Low Countries, Scandinavia, and Baltic regions. That could be fun and other than France, not TOO difficult maybe. I thought about doing the colonizing thing, but I think that I'm not going to go that route this run. And breaking the Catholic powers sounds fun. They have been a pain for me this entire game. It is time for some payback. lol

I would have tried to secure the Livonian Order from Muscovy conquest, even if it would delay the conquest of Silesia, it would be a bit of roleplay on my part, destroying the Catholic orders in the Baltic but without abandoning the provinces to non-Germans, it would make sense to do that as the HRE emperor, I think, as well as trade in the Baltic is important for Prussia.

I love the animal pen. That looks like a very happy place for them. Well done designing the workshop. It is too bad you will be stopping. This is a fun game. But if you aren't having fun, it isn't worth it. I hope you do show how the city progresses at some point though. I can wait for your new EU4 run! That sounds like a lot of fun.

@KyleAxington It isn't so much that is is frustrating, it is just difficult with this game where there is so much down time between when I get something atarted and the people in the game do it. And much of that isn't interesting to watch so I have to edit it out. But it is a fun game for sure (that absolutely still needs some work lol).

Sometimes i feel like leaving the game until it reaches the age of absolutism then annexing germany in one war. Managing expansionism and coalitions is fun at first, then it becomes a bit tedious. But when its gone it just feels like map painting. I think its time i took a break. (Ill be back in 2 weeks)

That is fair enough. I know a lot of people have a hard time with the game from the mid 1500s until absolutism. I will say that I have recorded the next episode and tested out the one after that. There is still some fun things coming your way!

Nah, it wasn't too bad. Luckily, I got rid of all the blighted crops quickly and it didn't spread too much. I have plenty of food. 🙂

Wow, you've done so much with that extra region for your builds. A while back, I watched where you were just plotting out that big space and put in storage. You had a issue with a cave-in, if I remember correctly. Yikes!

Yeah! The cave in was in the second episode. A TON has changed since then. I've been doing lots of building, getting research, and progressing a lot. It has been a fun run.
