Why do Americans say Oh My Gosh? For example, "gosh" replaces "God" in expressions like "Oh My Gosh," "By Gosh," or simply "Gosh." Since it was once considered blasphemous to take the Lord's name in vain, people invented many substitute words, or euphemisms, to be polite and avoid offending God.

I really think this is going to go down as one of the greatest videos in spaceflight history. The symbolic moment that space began to open to all the world - I have to credit Sian for taking the video - whether intentional or unintentional, there's something about that pan back down to Hayley, looking at the Earth in awe, that always brings me a great sense of inspiration.

Holy shit. My fav part about this is how much it feels like a commercial plane but bigger on so many levels. Just the way everything looks so uncluttered and white with that roar in the background. Makes you feel like you are there with them.

Looking down at the only planet your species has ever inhabited from far beyond the safety of its atmosphere has to be one of the most humbling experiences one can have. There’s a solemn grandeur to seeing a planet in its entirety from orbit. Suddenly you get a better idea of just how small you are on the cosmic scale.

We have to make fast strides in space travel. This means we need to find ways to go atleast. At 0.2 c velocity of light. Then was have a chance. At this speed we are going to have challenges. But we can slowly speed up. I think we are moving at extremely slow pace.

I remember working on space shuttle program. Was quite interesting. Maybe I need to return as a consultant. In fact I did so much technical stuff most of it has become Kindergarden like work somewhat or maybe high school level for me. Yes I could return as consultant. Engineering is not that hard as say String Theory in physics. I did too much of it, got tired of all paperwork that goes with it so did not want to go back. I bet if I go back , I could be very useful. Retired for now.
