Straight to the point video. Thanks. Currently Tesla shopping, and based on prices, the stealth gray is the only model x that qualifies for the tax credit. So it’s essentially 8-9k more for any other color. So if I choose the x, I’m going with this color lol.

I'm of the same opinion. I was planning on Lunar Silver with white seats but with the tax credit, I can't justify paying for over a 10K price increase. It's gonna be Stealth Grey and Black seats for me.

@@roywillis2518 nice! Good decision. I ended up going with a model y quicksilver, and I actually pick it up here in just a few hours! The current 2% apr deal Tesla is running on the Ys is eventually what persuaded me. I hear ya though. Idk how you can justify paying 8-10k for a color change on the X. I think Tesla needs to do something about that current pricing setup.

Is Stealth Grey a metallic paint? It doesn't say metallic in the name, but it appears to be in your video. I am considering a Model Y, but I only want Stealth Grey if it is metallic (not flat). I test drove it, but it has been overcast lately in So Cal (on the coast), and I couldn't see it in the sun. And when I see it on the road, it's difficult to see it up close. Thanks for the video! This is very helpful, but I just want to verify it is metallic before I place my order.

Looks like you chose the 20 inch rims. Do you like them better than the 22s? The old 22 inch rims were way better, I had it before in the blue model x. Don't know why they changed a good thing. And I loved the midnight silver too. 🙂

its an improvement over the old gray, but they need better diversifications of colors. We now just live in a world of only white and dark gray teslas, with just a few red crazies out there

Haha I was pretty surprised too. Luckily they took it into the shop and fixed it in about 30 mins. It’s been fine so far.

I did just drive a few hours through rainstorms and dirt, it might hide dirt slightly better than MSM
