In may of this year I discovered my newest greatest passion and interest: journal making. I feel watching this video like I was seeing my future! The amount of things I have been buying, especially in thrift shops and flea markets..my thinking being. why not, it's cheap...and it will be perfect...only I am already wondering where to put it all. 😁

I use the clear envelopes like yours with the red sheet in it. I use masking tape and a sharpie to “label” things. It’s quick and easy, can be changed quickly, I can “see” the writing on the label. It has really helped my organizing/downsizing adventure going on in my craftroom.

After seeing yours, I found a wine bottle holder at a thrift store that has 9 spaces...and it was 50% off that day, so$2.50!!! Everyone who sees it says its a brilliant use of space and I always give you creadit!

Such a great idea. I started using these about six months ago, for everything junk journal related and I have them in a basket, tagged. Best thing I've ever done. I find whatever I need at my fingertips...I like your idea about the color coding paper. I'm going to do that to help visually thanks. 😊

Same here … started scrapbooking with measuring, cutting straight and being precise. Moved to bullet journaling, but that still seemed to be precise. Junk journaling is so freeing to me. I knew this style was for me when I saw it.

Kelly, Thank you for always being a wonderful inspiration in finding ways to organize. My ribbons and threads and trims..what a silly mouse nest! I save the large clear clam shells that salad comes in. It was what I used to sort all trims, ribbons and string. I can see what I have and they stack. I think for the cost?, recycling, a plastic container they will do the trick. I didn't bother to take off the labels. Maybe someday. I enjoy watching you sort and talk and am slowly getting my world straightened up. I have to, the holiday show I sell my journals, is soon. I wish you a wonderful fall. ❤🎉
