Enjoyed it, but disliked the art direction over time. They were producing progressively goofier skins and now do crossovers.

I hear ya. At least they haven’t gotten over the top ridiculous, I think their crossovers still fit the general aesthetic of the game’s universe

Back in the early days of this game you could burn bodies to force the other player out and necromancer wasn’t a thing. You should use a combination of fire or poison and concertina.

Yea I’m thinking concertina is the better play because I can take my eyes off the body a bit more and also not lose the opportunity to loot the hunter

Almost 3k hours in the og, tho how much of that time is sitting in a lobby looking for a game... And ive not even scratched the surface with 1896, the bugs and preforms issues are just too much for me. Use to be able to predict/dictate the course of a gunfights to a certain degree of success but these days i know that no matter how well i think things out, some bug will mess it all up. If the state of the game itself isn't allowing me to be a good hunter, why shoud i bother. Also the literal clowns running around everywhere arent helping lol

@Glytchie yeah I just don't see the fun in it anymore but if I have that extraction itch I play the survival mode in the Division which I didn't know existed for the longest time

Dude I’ve seen a lot of people make videos about how good that game mode is. I’ve hesitated on buying it bc I’m not sure how much longer it’ll be supported

Love Hunt so much. Just shy of 1000 hours. I worry aboit the game in it's currebt state, server issues primarily. But the Aesthetics of everything that keeps me comming back to trudge through the bayou. Rifle in hand and six shooter on my hip.

Why would I want to add gunslinger to my load out? Only low star players use it. Watching this video actually gave me PTSD of all the random team mates I’ve ever had. 😢

I think the gun (Veterili) with the scope is what players should be using. It make the game so much easier yet i never see people use it

@ honestly it’s not talked about a lot but the Martini Henry absolutely slaps! The fast fingers trait should be applied to this gun soon too according to crytek so it should be just as good if not better than the sparks! Other than that just use whatever gun looks cool to you every gun is extremely viable

Hunt showdown has by far the shortest down time for an extraction shooter I’ve played.

@@percthug I had to buy a new pc. My old pc didn't respect AVX2. Framerate was playable at the time.

@@percthug At the time I used an I72600k and a GTX1060 with 16gb. Now I have the new Ryzen 7 9800x3d cpu with a 4090oc and 96gb and run game in 4k.

Honestly it doesn't feel like 60fps at 4k, more likely 45 fps. And there are several instances fps drop to 30

@@danleu1256 that’s horrible. The fact that devs still refuse to optimize in 2024 is insane. Wow I don’t even wanna try the new update if that’s the case. At least the old shitty muddy ps4 version ran at stable 60 on ps5

@@shaunkennedy174 don't get me wrong. They just updated the game and there could be some technical issues. Before the update it run smoothly at 60fps on new consoles. Cryteck is working hard, they are being really comunicative with the player base. They are already posting video updates about the community feedback and dropped some fixes. Remember that the update got live just yesterday. I trust them at the moment, because they are listening and addressing problems. You could wait for the fixes and give the game a shoot after c:

Hopefully there will never be cross play between consoles and pc as that would be unfair on consoles side. But yeah weird that they don’t allow invites from Xbox and ps players…

@@Cameron-up3vp usually you can disable PC cross play when implemented. And you are right: hunt on console and PC are 2 different games.
