My dad was a precision engineer, self employed on a retainer from Ronson Lighters. They used him to produce working versions of ideas they had. He certainly made a working cigarette vending machine for use in pubs and clubs for them. Put your coin in pull the lever and out rolled a lit cigarette! He'd probably be arrested these days 😂

I want to build a useless machine that will shut its switch off a couple of times, and then after the third or fourth time it waggles its finger at you, shuts the switch off, then comes back out one more time pointing a toy gun at you.
