Saw this tour November 2011 at House of Blues Houston. Crowd was in a frenzy. Band was feeding off crowd and vice versa. One of the best concerts ive ever seen, and ive seen a lot. RIP Ray.

Probably the missing piece of the puzzle is to find the police report of the accident, if it still exists. There could be mention of witnesses there.

Wow what a weak interviewer. The silly snickering and nervous laughter was annoying and unprofessional.

I believe she died earlier in 2023, weeks before her possessions were auctioned off on Ebay.. The first auction started In october 2023, there are still items unsold; www.ebay.com/itm/115938487448?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=MHFAkDpWQxm&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=EEVMCn5NTcO&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

She didn’t bring her belongings to auction, The payments for the storage she rented stopped so the storage unit was auctioned off.

Jim and Janis had a few encounters and not just the infamous one where Jim grabbed Janis by the hair and she hit him over the head with a bottle... In The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger's book "Set the Night on Fire ", Robby describes how one of The first times The Doors went to San Francisco Jim ended up at Janis' house, just the two of them... And Jim had to sneak out because Janis' boyfriend showed up unexpectedly. At the time, Janis' boyfriend was "Freewhelin Frank", the secretary of the Hells Angels in San Francisco. Jim made peace with Janis shortly before her death... Jim's friend Tom Baker confessed this in an interview in which he said that Janis was an occasional drinking friend, so the contact between Morrison and Joplin was more lasting and intense than people know. Apparently, when Janis died, Jim was very sorry... He really liked her, that's why when, after first Hendrix's death and then Joplin's death, he used to tell his friends "you're here drinking with the number 3", which a few months later turned out to be true.

I wish my first concert was the The Doors! ~We all have a "brother" in Jim. I've always been impressed by Anne, it was easy to see that she loved Jim deeply -and she "got" him, which is some comfort as a fan, for reasons that true *fans* will understand. What an amazing work of heart this book is, I'm looking forward very much to owning a copy. Jim's been a hero, and inspiration to me for many years, and I have no doubt that he would have gone on to produce video and film. JDM was a genius, and I think he proved that by expanding the borders of rock and roll to encompass epic oral poetry. It's very moving and heartening to see the level of love and respect that his geat work is held in, and to see his art being treated with the love and care it so rightly deserves. 🏆

Jim was MKUltra d by his own demonic masonic Military Industrial Complex connected father. This is one of the side effects. What a pompous pretentious elite bloodline clown he really was. An industry creation. The truth was...the Doors were a studio band... awful shrill out of tune and off key and tempo live players who needed studio tricks to fix their incompetency. But if you work for the CIA and MIC...you go as long and as far as they allow you.
