I know this sounds lame, but we seriously need to be capable ourselves too. Chhapris and gundas have the edge because this is all they do throughout the day. They don't have any responsibilities tying them down or keeping them on the straight path. They consider themselves free spirits. They don't have to earn a salary, take their kids to school or look after their family. This lack of accountability is what gives them an edge, and this edge of theirs dulls our edge, the edge of responsible, accountable, family people or careerpersons. I think it's high time we started incorporating gundapanti into our character as well. Hum apni aukaat se neeche aa gaye na, toh yeh apni aukaat bhul jayenge aur apni marzi se jail mein khud ghus jayenge. Chhapri aur gunde logon ke mann mein yeh darr banaye rakhna bahut zaruri hai! It's just like what Rawal Ratan Singh said in Padmavat - "agar sab ek ho jaayein, toh dushman khatam, varna ek ek kar ke hum sab khatam!" Waise yeh kaam toh police ka hai, lekin police bhi agar apna kaam na kare, toh police ko itna zaleel karo ki woh vardi pehenne se pehle 100 baar soche! Humare tax se unko pagaar milti hai, toh utni accountability toh honi chahiye na un logon mein!

In family also we cannot except this, its better not to depend on anyone or trust.........

@vrinda tiwari. A single women can follow these steps to stay safe: (1) Maintain situational awareness when you are out of the house. This world is a dangerous place. Do not under estimate it please. (2) If possible dont' be at the wrong place at the wrong time (3) Physical fitness, first to run away & then to fight back as a last resort (4) Have a support system (friend, brother, parent, colleague) who can be informed in case of any issue. (5) Carry appropriate "tools" in your hand bag.
