Tarantino should do a movie about the Surfers and the Red Apple Motel. He likes So.Calif in the 60s he was there as a kid.

Brings a tear to my eye every time I watch this video, this was a real race car to me when I was a kid and it is now as I approach 65 years old, the modern stuff is impressive for sure but lack that personal soul of a car like the "Surfers" and others of the period.

I don't know if Adam Sorokin has seen this car, or not. It would be great for him to occupy the seat in honor of his dad, and Tom Jobe. Thanks to Bob for all his hard work recreating this car.

Bob, A big thanks are in order for building your car. A piece of history !!. Been watching Bills vids for years with Ricky, then the Surfers started and watched them all. Great job all of you did for the rest of us. I'm finishing my mid 60s fed, will run exhibition here on the east coast. Sad when I got the call about Tom. Keep the vids coming !! PS. I've got great neighbors as well.

This is monster, BIll Higginson. I guess Tom was in on re-creating the Surfers motor? It sounds baad when you tweak the injector and run the R's up.
