If you observe carefully, you can see what triggers the first thermal bubble to release at just after a minute in. I was flying towards it previously, thinking that it might nudge some lifty air off the ground, and it did.

I don't appear to have them written down (I probably have them on the boat, where I recorded it). The online ones seem to say it's in C, but I appear to be in D here, with a liberal sprinkling of G and A. After the solo the whole thing then just goes up a tone.

Hallo!! I am from Italy, we are great Maŕillion's fans, and my son Alessandro would like to play this song like you!! Can we have the sheet music please? He would be so happy🥰 say us how to do and if is it possible , thank you so much 🙏
@richharding7927 Жыл бұрын
I don't really have any sheet music for it, just a rough layout of the chords (somewhere) that I worked out some time ago, and then I've played it and tweaked it over time (which is why my covers tend to drift away from pure copies of the originals a little). I'll see if I can find the basic chord sheet somewhere...

nice cover! <3 wolf alice is an underrated band. also i got an idea from your cover on how to play it myself! thank you.
@richharding79273 жыл бұрын
Thanks :) I'm not sure this version I recorded isn't a bit too loud. The original is mostly incredibly sparse, and I do generally play it softer than this. The whole album is superb (and currently my album of the year). I did see part of their Glastonbury set in 2016, but didn't follow it up, so now I'm playing catch up with them :)
@avanitiwari58793 жыл бұрын
@@richharding7927 not gonna lie, the intro and the chorus is loud, but i don't mind the little variations and changes you added on your own. i would prefer to play it softer, since my voice is soft. i wish i could see wolf alice in person too someday! again i thank you for uploading this cover and guiding this blooming beginner lol.
@richharding79273 жыл бұрын
@@avanitiwari5879 yeah, I just do these for fun, and they're not meant to be faithful. I'm very much a vocalist who plays instruments, and I actually started doing them on Facebook a few years back, to get me out of a bad habit of sometimes gurning (pulling weird faces) when playing guitar. The alternative "choir" melody in the intro and chorus is just how I hear the whole sound when stripped down to one voice and a guitar. I'm tempted to try a quiet version at some point, but then that brings the game closer to some kind of imitation, which isn't the point.
