@@VPNCompare as said they are pretty good, but they need to add the following: 1- Audit their services. 2- Use Ram server only. 3- Use their OWN DNS servers instead of Google/OpenDNS 4- Add ad blocker services 5- add latency and server load feature to their Win/android App. 6- Improve Killswitch functionality 7- Split tunnel 8- Mac address changer however: they are offer great speed- great support- great obfuscation options...and more...

We haven't tested VPNify or heard any reports about their service. AdGuard VPN isn't perfect but for gaming they should be a good option because both their ping and speeds were reliable.

Stupid video. You realise that if you win, camelot will screen your winnings by also checking the ip address and request a copy of your passport to determine whether you have been abroad. If you lie for not owning a passport they can still revoke your winnings for failing to provide the necessary documentation. you can take them to court but youll be made to look stupid when the judge requests to see your passport history via a central database to suddenly realise you were actually abroad during the period you circumnavigated the app. Either way you lose your case and get nothing and have to pay your own legal fees Seriously dont do this. If you want to win this legally you can predetermine your numbers whilst physically in the UK via the app, and should you win whilst you were abroad on holiday you will legally be entitled to your winnings. If Camelot fail to comply, you can take them to court. Camelot cannot force you to physically be in the UK when they draw your predetermined advanced online numbers. As long as you dont bypass via a VPN then you should be OK

This is partly true, which is why if you read the article it recommends against playing for this exact reason. However, Camelot can't "determine weather you have been abroad" by your passport, if you travel in the EU you get no stamp and they aren't authorised to check. Using a VPN is entirely legal. You can use a VPN and play within the UK. Using a VPN does not automatically suggest you are outside the UK. "Checking the ip address" will prove nothing. What about dual citizens with passports of two countries? If they travel on their overseas passport the UK passport would show nothing. There are too many factors in play. They would need a good reason to make you forfeit winnings, however I wouldn't want to take that risk on a big win.

@@VPNCompare i dont doubt the integrity of the use of VPN in general. Its a fantastic tool to mask ones ip address from institutions and services that attempt to monitor all activities or block address from certain geozones to access regional content. But trying to offer a workaround in form of VPN to put in lottery numbers is risky, albeit a very low risk for big winnings but it could happen. In fact it did happen to someone whose winnings were revoked when they played their numbers in spain and when they won several thousands the person admitted ganeplay from Spain whilst calling from Spain, although prior to when Camelot decided to put in Geoblocking

Hi Cheryl, Unfortunately it's impossible to get the 1-year plan and pay monthly. They only offer the discount if you pay upfront otherwise the monthly cost is quite high. We don't recommend Astrill as they no longer work well in our tests. Yes, most VPN services accept Paypal.

Hello I seem to have a different verion of family filter than you. I get an icon near the clock that tells me I am protected. BT told me that as long as the kinds have user and not administrator accounts it's impossible for any program to bypass the family filter. Is that true? thanks

The image in the video is the new BT Network filter. What it sounds like you have is a software filter known as "BT Family Protection" which is installed on your one system. Unless you have individual software installed over all devices, computers, laptops, tablets then only the ones with installed software will be "protected" - the others won't. The network filter will apply to any device connected to your internet which is known as "BT Parental Controls" (www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumerProducts/displayTopic.do?topicId=37062&s_cid=con_FURL_parentalcontrols) this can protect all devices from one set up panel. It can however be bypassed which is the topic of our article, so having both the software and network filter is advisable. However no software or network filter is 100% and the only true way to protect your kids is to monitor their usage, keep tabs on what they do, what sites they visit and who they speak to etc.

Julie H If you just have the one computer/device that your kids are using and it has the McAfee software set up correctly then that should suffice. You may want to take a look at the link in my last post as this is an additional filter that can cover future devices you add and even your current system. It would be an extra layer of peace of mind for you. But yes, in theory your original question of if you have admin rights and your kids only have user rights then in general it is a good way of ensuring they don't chance across inappropriate material. Just make sure you've selected all the options of things you want to block, just installing it and not looking in to the options wouldn't be enough. However, as said earlier you should always keep tabs on their usage as no product is 100% and a mixture of your parenting eye and the software would be the best of both worlds.

I am not an expert on computers and my parenting eye would not notice something wrong until its too late. My husband tried to break the software and could not do it, so I feel we are probably safe at least until the kids get older and smarter than us.

Hi The65c02. Don't worry, most VPN's are a paid for service, the guide was more aimed at sneaky teenagers. Unless he/she manages to remove your credit card from your wallet then I wouldn't worry too much. As with any child that young, physically monitoring their internet access is probably the best port of call.
