The Lords Supper is the fulfillment of the Lords Passover Supper. For Christ Jesus our Passover lamb has been sacrificed 1 Corinthians 5:7. By one sacrifice we have been perfected forever. There is only one perfect eternal sacrifice forevermore and only one continuous celebration Supper Participating in this sacrifice until the Lord Jesus returns in glory to the mount of Olives near Jerusalem Zechariah 14:4. So the Lord’s Supper is a sacrificial Supper and we Participate In sacrifice by eating the Passover bread and cup. Just as Israel participated in the sacrifice by eating the Passover lamb and applying the blood . When they ate the Passover lamb and applied the blood it was imputed to them that they were participating in the Calvary sacrifice or it was pointing to the Calvary sacrifice. When we take the Passover bread and cup we get the same benefits and greater because we’re under a better Covenant Hebrews 8:6.The Lord Jesus prepares His table for us with Passover bread and wine. The early believers broke bread daily or had communion( fellowship)with the Lord Jesus Matthew 18:20.

Yes, its very challenging to submit to dealing with Social issues the way God would have us deal with them. BUT!??? God treats us the way He expects US to treat others. He FORGIVES us when we betray him. He FORGIVES us when we are SELFISH . He FORGIVES us and does NOT hold a grudge when we realise our mistakes and are willing to admit them and fix them. cant beat that. :)
