Hi Billy. I love your song titled I Could Use A Friend. It brought a tear to my eye.” I’m a 64 year old totally blind man in the USA so, feel totally free to ignore me. I listen to music very closely. I’ve often heard Simon on America’s Got Talent say that he closes his eyes when listening to a singer to get a better feel of the singer. Being blind allows me to listen to the words very closely along with the music and the emotions of the singer in their voice. I think you have a beautiful voice and are a great singer but I listened to 7 or 8 of the songs you have posted on your You Tube channel and I couldn’t find a single song that made me want to smile, tap my foot or sing along with happily. The song titled “Finish Line” was the song closest to making me feel happy. All the other songs made me feel sad and brought tears to my eyes so, I would listen to your songs if I wanted or needed a good cry. I heard you say on The Voice during your audition that you had a record deal and were dropped. Please forgive me because I don’t want to discourage you in any way but there’s something holding you back from reaching the next level in your brilliant singing career and becoming more popular and well known. As I listened to your songs I continued to feel sadness and several of the songs made me want to cry. I just wonder if your stuck in the songs with sadness as their theme. You have a voice that could bring me happiness just as much as the feeling of wanting to cry. I’m by no means a professional or a talent judge but I would love to here you sing a song that made me smile, happy, tap my foot or made me clap and shout with joy or a song that showed the love, joy and happiness in your heart!
