👋 hola! Existen muy diferentes grados de discapacidad física. Para pedalear en este trike se requiere algo de movilidad en piernas, aunque no sea completa. Recientemente publicamos un video sobre el Gekko Fx 26 Handbike, que es un triciclo impulsado con los brazos. Te invito a que le eches un vistazo :-)

Me parece muy buena idea. Si yo no tuviese suficiente fuerza o coordinación en las piernas iría a por ella de cabeza. Cuándo he visto una handbike me sorprende la velocidad a la que va pero también reconozco que me preocuparía circular en vías públicas por lo bajo que van. ¿Es una adaptación original de HP?, ¿Sólo está disponible para el gekko o está disponible para el scorpión también?.

Hola Pocho! Pues esta handbike tiene la misma altura que un triciclo reclinado, que es la misma postura que llevas tú. Sí, es una adaptación original de HP Velotechnik y hay dos versiones: Gekko y Scorpion FS. Hi, thanks for that! nothing special as a video but I did what I could at that time. I think a labrador would fit in, but is probably the biggest dog that I'd say fits comfortably on that bike. Duna weighs 18 Kg and she's medium sized, still has plenty of room. A labrador wouldn't be able to lie down comfortably but can definitely sit inside and will love it! It all depends on wether your dog is around the average or a big animal...

These bikes are always so overpriced! like the Quadvelo you can get for nearly 10000 EURO. You can buy a very nice small car for that money. I know upkeep will be much lower than a car, but these things are much too high of a treshold, price wise...

Those of us who go for these bikes obviously don’t do it because of the price. But they’re not overpriced. They’re hand made, by order, and in very short numbers. Cars are made by millions. That explains the prices of one and the other. If you prefer a car, there’s no discussion. Go for it! 👍 And thanks for watching!

@@3ikeTV That is exactly the problem. Cars are mass produced so the price can be reduced because of low production costs. But there is also these green movements that want to incentivize smaller and cleaner mobility options and then price is a clear obstacle for adoption. The green movement only focus on electric cars and look no further. The innovative producers of innovative and alternative mobility solutions should be supported by lobbyists and government. Instead, the government has very strict rules for these new mobility alternatives and even forbid them (at least in the Neteherlands) to even go on the road. Most of the alternatives are forbidden to go on the road! The world upside down is what I call it.
