I am needing to do this with a four inch ring. How many pieces of rope would I need? Would they still need to measure the same length or longer and if longer how much? Also would I still basically do it the same way? This will be my first ever time trying macrame. So I have no clue out to enlarge it but my daughter needs it with that size center ring. I started to knit, but realized that letters on 1:22 at painted schema (A, B, D, C, E, F) had differents from later sequenced of cords (A, B, C, D, E, F). This can cause errors.
