Any idea what happened to Jim? We haven't seen him in 3 years and really enjoyed his visits

It's such an invasion of the Eagles. Another one of man's quest to invade anything that's unnecessary because there is not a reduction of eagles. It's against the law to kill, capture, etc. Eagles, etc. I don't see the point.

What a wonderful tape showing all the 2023 eaglets and brief video of their banding. There is hope seeing these beautiful animals starting their lives. Be well and enjoy your retirement Dr. Sharpe.. you and the team have certainly made an impact and change for the Bald Eagle population. May it continue in the same direction. 🙏❤️🦅

This video is an absolute gem! Such fantastic locations and endearing chicks! I also loved watching one of the adults in flight at about 17.32. Immense efforts and risks taken on the part of Dr Peter Sharpe - a truly unique person!

Four or five years ago I won a guided tour of the island with Dr. Sharpe. I can't tell you how sorry I am that I never made it down there!!! And now he is retiring, so I sure did miss my chance. Sigh ...

This behavior by humans is so wrong. Maybe one day, Dr. Sharp will be frightened, molested and terrorized out of his wits by being accosted by aliens. All in the name of scientific research of course. No wonder some of them keep moving their nests.

When did this happen?
@Luceforall Жыл бұрын
I would imagine around May - early June, well before the chicks learn to fly. For instance, the West End chicks were banded on 15 May, and the Two Harbors chick was banded on 27 May. We are talking this year, 2023 :)
