So cool! I was addicted to this game a while ago but stopped playing when it forced me to sign in to Game Center to continue (I was challenging myself to never pay it money hehehe)

The description gave me a laugh lol. I remember playing this game as a child many years ago, being frustrated about all the ads and paywalls everywhere. Some of its designs still are awesome though, and I think there's no shame in appreciating that :) Your model looks super cool!

Thank you! Yeah, Dragon City was my childhood game too. The very first video game I played. It used to be good, but the devs completely runied it. Nowadays it is nothing more then a scam and ad watching platform and an insult to everyone who used to love this app that used to be a game.

@durianium hello this is the same person but I am on my other account Idk if you the suggestions put I think you should make a tutorial for a Phoenix or a Wings of Fire SeaWing (you r still my favorite KZbinr if you don’t)
@meltemb170510 күн бұрын
@@entbot9393 Hi, I am also the same person who made the video, but was too lazy to switch accounts to reply.😂 Depends, can I convince you to try out paper mache, if I make a tutorial? If yes, which one of those 2 things would you reather do?
@RishaanKumar-jn7qx9 күн бұрын
@meltemb1705 paper mache is when you use card board instead of paper? I am not really sure what paper mache is but I think I would be able to try to do it and I would like if you made a Wings of Fire SeaWing.
@durianium9 күн бұрын
@@RishaanKumar-jn7qx Paper mache is anything you make with wallpaper paste and paper. At least I never heard of it beeing exclusive to cardboard. It's what I do in the video, but you can also just type in youtube "paper mache" and maybe other videos are more helpful and everybody kind of does it a bit diffrent. Most people use paper clay or regular clay in adition to make details better for example. About the seawing, yes, I can make that. I don't know much about wings of fire, but I googled and like how it looks. 🫶 If you never worked with paper mache, I recommend just doing the rough body shape with paper and adding the details with clay. Ofc you don't need to, but it might be easier that way. Also, always let stuff dry before continuing, maybe I already said that. Good luck, you can do it!!!🥰

Are you just wetting the newspaper with water when putting it around the wire? This is so freaking cool!
@madmaxxx0116 күн бұрын
And what is the white material you wrap around the newspaper at the end to hold it together? Is it plaster strips? I've been trying to find ways to recycle stuff and this looks like such a cool and fun way to do so!
@durianium16 күн бұрын
No, I use walpaper paste. The very first video on my channel is a tutorial that explains what everything is. You can apply that to every figure I make. The only things you need are paper (newspaper and white paper), wallpaperpaste, steel wire and acrylic paint.
@madmaxxx0115 күн бұрын
@durianium awesome!!!! Thank you so much I really appreciate you not gatekeeping how you create these. I'm in a sculpture class right now and we're learning about recycling materials to create new things, so I appreciate the inspiration and I can't wait to see what else you create!

Would this be possible but instead of using paper using clay? I don’t have any extra paper Also where do you get wires like that from, could I use tin foil instead?

How does someone with 801 subscribers get 130 comments in a video? Those newspaper-figures are so good, I think… what good work this person did…

I'm wondering the same thing. Sometimes the algorithm just picks up random stuff and puts it on peoples for you page, ig. Idk.

How many materials do you need to do it yourself if you want to?
@durianiumАй бұрын
You need: Newspaper, wallpaperpaste, steel wire, normal white paper (optional), acrylic paint (optional), toothpicks (extreamly optional). Good luck with it! I'll make a tutorial (or at least I will try XD) next, for something easy, maybe a bat, since there are a couple of people who want to try it.

Hard is subjective. If you have no experience with papermache, it is hard. If you have experience it is very doable. Just try it, id say.
